No, it doesn't. Karma is not a real thing. What goes around CAN be side-stepped and avoided when it comes around. Many times I have seen the superstition of karma avoided completely. Action, reaction is more modern, but still the same thing exists, reactions can be voided. However, this kind of 'What goes around, comes back around.' does make sense. FDJT! I'm glad I voted for much better; never for DJT.

Not just woken up. They now have, in China, an alternative trade partner. The U.S. used to just say, "Do it my way, or I cut you off and let you starve". Now developing countries are finding out that China is willing to trade, and not attaching strings that in effect lets U.S. control their country. For example, S. Korea has several large U.S. military bases inside their own country. What sovereign nations do that? (Germany and Japan come to mind, but they lost WW2 and this was part of their surrender concessions) S. Korea pretends it;s an independent country, but it's a vassal state to the U.S. The American government can even give orders to the S. Korean military. Who runs that country really? Other countries used to have no choice but to bend the knee to the U.S. to survive. That's almost done now.

    • @Weaselbroom
      @Weaselbroom День тому

@@Ironfangzu you forget why the US is what it is. After WW2 the US was roughly 49% of the world's manufacturing base. That's the entire world. We helped rebuild the western world and also stop the Soviet Union from imposing their rule on subjected nations.
If you want to know if this was good or bad you would have to know what eastern Europe was like during the Cold war. Japan rebuilt and flourished. Now Korea is successful. Even China is successful because of the US and the Western world. This is why the Chinese economy has grown over the last 35 years.
We are not perfect and have done some horrible or very stupid things. But be careful with China. China has zero regard for life. Look at their subject states. Look at what they are doing around the Philippines and Vietnam. They claim everything.
Even the Galapagos islands where they try to illegally fish out. Every coast their fishing fleets break laws. This is a poor trading partner indeed.
Yes, China is a trading partner alternative but at what cost. Yes the US put strings on trade. What country doesn't.
If you've ever been to China and see how their people treat foreign people it's not nice. It's not open. You can't live there and expect to be ever accepted. Especially the darker your skin is. You will always be less than a Han Chinese person.
The CCP is scared of the real truth or letting the outside see the real China. That's why China has a closed Internet. That's why it's illegal to have a VPN. The only way a Chinese citizen can access the outside world. And it's illegal. It's so bad that for a Uyghur cought with a vpn it can mean the death penalty.
So trust the Chinese if you want, but they are barbarians.
Unless it's Taiwanese or Singaporean Chinese. They are wonderful people.

China ia a great nation and it is amazing what they have accomplished over the last decades. I've heard for many years that we should not buy Chinese products and "buy American" but America did not do that (Walmart). There are few things we can buy that are made in America. We have been taught that getting a college education is more valuable than a trade (not surprising since many end of with debt and fail out with a useless degree in Psychology). Now a plumber, mechanic etc. make more money than a MD if you can find one. Now labor is expensive (my lawn mower guy makes $30 & up per hour and so does a Dominos deliver person) The bottom line of corporations were/are more important than mataining a workforce. I saw this coming in the mid-seventies when labor unions made it hard for corporations to make excessive profits. Now Trump is going to make it harder for us to buy from China destroying a system without replacing it with something better. I see that the ESL people are posting negative thoughts about us and some of it is true. We can change all of this with a single pointed goal of bring manufacturing back to America. Are we Americans ready to do the hard work or do we still (Bitcoin) want something for nothing, playing the richmans dream.

You are not right on the education aspect. Precisely one of the reasons China is doing so well is because they invested huge on education. ASML (the microchips manufacturers) made a deal with the US government to create a state of the art chips factory in the USA and they are having serious troubles completing it because they can't find well educated engineers. Another example: When Apple tried to move their iphones factory to India they had to go back to China in a year because they couldn't find a well prepared workforce and the factory was not able to keep up the production pace.
China may not have any of the most prestigious universities in the world, but they are producing good quality engineers (chemists, biologists, you name it) at a very strong pace, because they were smart enough to invest for the future when they were just cheap labor.
The problem isn't that degrees are useless, the problem is that the emphasis isn't put in the right degrees nor in the quality behind those degrees. American universities have become a expensive resort for young people.

This will take years to get through environmental groups, land purchases, mining time, and the most difficult is the actual refining processes of these elements. It took the Chinese years to work out how to do these processes on an industrial scale. Each refinement uses a lot of different chemicals to purity prior for usage.
The US and Australia talk the talk, but will hobble as they walk. Can the US and Australians or EU have a competitive end price ?
China will be years ahead in all things associated with these raw materials. Putting the US in a stasis of advancement or had to pay high prices for the end product. China did a lot of work for the US for cheap, now the US will have to swallow humble pie in the years to come..

We have taken advantage of many of China’s inexpensive goods and services for decades. We need what they have more than they need what we have. That’s why you don’t target China with tariffs. The American domestic economy isn’t capable of producing what we are accustomed to for similarly lower prices. A trade deficit is not negative in the same way a budget deficit is, especially if the former lowers prices and increases our standard of living. Tariffs accomplish one thing-the American businesses that pay them, will offset those losses by raising prices on consumers. Say what you will about China, but their people commute to work on levitating bullet trains and their engineers construct skyscrapers in a few months; they also own several trillions of our debt, thousands of U.S. businesses, and even iconic buildings like the Waldorf Astoria. What’s even more remarkable is that the country has been wise enough to avoid war since 1979, while we have been involved in some sort of conflict every year since then.
