For cleaning gears, diff housing, etc, I use a blend of 20-25% Industrial Strength Simple Green & 75-80% water...but, I "up" the cleaning by NOT just soaking everything. Instead, I use am electric jewelry cleaner, and setting the timer length depending on what I'm cleaning, and how much it needs to be cleaned.

Yeah, those sonic cleaners are dope. Again I’m always really liked simple green. But I do suggest given cowrc a shot. You’ll find something special when you pull those products out of that sonic cleaner. Like a glossy finish almost. It’s weird.

I’ve always just used silicone spray. It works just fine and that’s what is going back in them.

@@EastTactics Honestly, I don't care about 'glossy'. Not saying this is the case with CowRC products...but, *some* product manufacturers use 'glossy' to "gloss over" things/areas that aren't actually clean. Again, NOT saying CowRC is guilty of this...and, that's because, several well-respected RCers have treated the CowRC products, and found them to TRULY clean/degrease, exactly as CowRC claims. In other words, the 'claims', best I can tell, ARE REAL. I've been planning to give their products a try...and, will definitely be doing so in the very-near future. And, to "help you out", I'll definitely be doing so using your provided discount code. Besides...I also need to get some of their other products, such as magnetic parts trays (ie. The "screw catchers"). 🤙🏼

@@EastTactics i means it work best for the oily section..diffs,shocks cylinders where the greasy parts and contaminated silicone oil needs quick busting...for the rest of the kit are best with dishwasher liquid with warm water..

I dont know, I mean one of my favorite things about the products used (cow rc) is that is does such a great job, plus its not bad for the plastics and not aggressive on the hands etc. I dont know much about diesel... but could imagine its pretty potent in the smell department... and not so great for the hands. But not sure. interesting none the less.

      @@LevelCyclerydoesnt water hurt bearings etc?

If water is forced into and under the bearings shielding, it’s not good for it. Avoid high pressure direct to them
