Hello Burns, I am a fan of you in China. I have been following you for a long time. I have been watching your practice exercises and want to become a member of your system to learn guitar! I would like to know if your membership only provides practice answers or one-on-one tutoring

Thanks Bernth! Yes, the tracing was done in after effects with the saber plugin from video copilot (free). Masked, tracked, and rotoscoped out my hands (not that well haha). Took a few tries to get it right. Please do steal it.
The locked on shot is another plugin FCPX stabilizer 2.0 from pixel film studios.

Just listened to it on your Spotify and it's awesome! I see what he means with the solo and I think it would be cool to connect the two mini solos to just have a soaring harmonic guitar lead between 1:41-2:02. Not too complicated to take away from the vocal line but something to really highlight and bring out that really interesting chord progression. Sounds sick though, mixing this style seems really difficult and this is nailed 0_0

Doing the modular picking part correctly AND well is definitely the most challenging part of Waterworks!

Something I've noticed in beginner/borderline intermediate players over the year is that they seem go straight for the hard technical playing, and neglect simple basics like vibrato, accurate bending and muting.

I've been playing music for a long time. I mainly do it alone, and have a very unique/unpopular taste. It's hard to get unbiased feedback on stuff like this because there is a tendency for people to default to whether they like the music or not. When you're looking for technical advice and positive criticism, you don't care a ton about whether or not other people like it. I'm stoked he had some positive things to say about mine, don't get me wrong, but he said a lot of stuff that will help me overall regardless of taste.
