I’ve never heard the radio version of this. Hahaha. I’ve only heard the live tour version and it really blows this one away. Wow. Such a huge difference. She’s a born performer though.
That “radadddddddada” after the chorus is actually her voice just pitched lower! She said in the making of this song that she thought of it in the middle of the night!
I'm constantlty reminded that non-swifties don't realize the range of geners and styles of her music. Since Taylor is such a master of visual arts (music videos, movies) and her live performances are iconic, I hope you are paying attention to them, even if you don't use them for the sake of reaction videos. Taylor Swift - I Did Something Bad (Reputation Stadium Tour performance) ua-cam.com/video/TOas_EERfQ0/v-deo.html And, if you like behind the scenes stuff, there is this: Taylor Swift NOW: The Making Of A Song (I Did Something Bad) ua-cam.com/video/WwJ_hHT5vw8/v-deo.html (The most iconic part is the last 60 seconds so, if you are impatient, you could skip to the end.)
People needs to finally forget this picture of Taylor as innocent girl with guitar who sings only about love and break ups and all she does is these country-pop naive songs like Love Story and You Belong With Me or silly simple pop songs like 22 and Shake It Off. She´s million times more than that. She´s extremely versatile artist and these 2 sides are just 2 of many many sides of her. I think Taylor´s singles even though very successful and amazing songs created very 1-dimensional image for her in public eye. With Taylor i would always recommend people to go listen a full album or at least give first listen to fan favorite deep-cuts because those definitely represent Taylor better than any of her singles ever could.
I agree!! People wanna bitch about seeing her in concert with their 5, 8, 12 yr old. Then they get mad at her cussing and dancing to "Vigilante Shit." Their mad about it. I'm like, it's the parents' fault. They need to read the lyrics to her songs. It's their responsibility! When she released "REPUTATION, " little kids shouldn't be allowed to listen to the songs with the cuss words! Definitely read the lyrics to everything before you take your kids to the concert! Not Taylors fault. IT'S THE PARENTS FAULT. She's not 17, 20, 25 yrs old. She's a 34 year old, grown woman. She's evolved. So, PARENTS, it's on you. NOT her! Take care of your kids. IT'S ON YOU.. GROW UP.
@@angelas.g.9848 agree it’s on the parents, but damn why are people mad, it’s just words. I’m sure the kids hear the parents say much worse than Taylor does.
The way I see it she is saying “THEY” said I did something bad! Meaning the media keeps saying Taylor has so many boyfriends, she can get anyone and then she leaves them and all the stuff they say about her in the media so she is playing into it in this song. She has talked a lot about how the media never goes after male musicians for dating a lot but for women that’s all they focus on. So she is saying this is how you portray me well here I am. Also the burning all the witches part is referring to the media and others like Kim and Kayne who portray her as evil they have their receipts and reasons and it’s just for fun and gossip but like the Salem witch trails they were just burning innocent women! So she is like if your going to make me look like a villain then just go ahead and light me up!
Apparently that portamento bassline was just Max and Shellback screwing around, and they thought Taylor would hate it. But, she was like, actually I kinda like it! Personally I find it a little overpowering, but overall this song is a bop. Radidididididididitata popped into Taylor's head in the middle of the night and she recorded it on her phone and then rerecorded it in the studio, and the producers did some magic on it.
She changes her arrangement and delivery to have a greater impact on the live audience (nearly all the fans know all the lyrics already, and she doesn't go on tour to replicate the studio versions ---- she does a spectacle show and ups the energy a lot). Netflix took down her Reputation Stadium Tour film (contract was for 5 years, ended in Dec. '23). There is a live version of the song from the 2018 AMAs, and a couple remastered versions of the tour performance that mix the film (and audio from the film) with footage of the AMA performance; and other versions that edit footage to avoid copyright hits. She opened the AMA's with an incredible performance; I've felt sorry for the next act for years.
It's funny watching people be surprised by Taylor's versatility. Loving your vibing! Not sure if you enjoy storytelling if more laid back? if so, her Folklore Long Pond Sessions are great.
Based on this reaction, I think you'd love Reputation. I also highly recommend watching some key performances from the Reputation Tour. Intro/Ready For It and Don't Blame Me are where I'd start. The version of I Did Something Bad that's on YT is a not great mashup of different performances and it's not nearly as good as the full version.
You need to react to this song live from the reputation tour, the songs from this album are awesome, the live reputation tour takes it up to a whole new level
"Taylor is creating her own justice" man, you need to watch the live version of Vigilante Shit from her Eras Tour; oh, and have listen to No Body No Crime (Taylor was a big fan of police dramas and even was in a CSI episode back in 2009).
Hi! I'm new here! Loved the video! I don't know if you've already done it, but you have to watch her singing to this song live on the Reputation Tour. It's even better than the studio version.
Go watch her Blank Space performance at the Grammy Museum (2015) --- in her intro to the song, she describes the false persona the media gossips made up about her. She used that persona again in several songs. If she is saying "they say" or "people say" or other clues to gossip, she is deliberately satirizing them. In a way, she is making a parody of their claims about her. After all, the Reputation album is about refuting the false gossip.
to me, don't blame me, neck and neck with I did something bad is taking the audience to a whole other dimension of multi-faceted Taylor, they're the only two that taste bizarrely good off this album. pls check out the link below of the BTS montage vid her fan made. Especially the ending part, It's fun to see how Taylor strategically breaks her voice into crashed computer effect, absurdly smart! She's such a lyricist and composer! ua-cam.com/video/WwJ_hHT5vw8/v-deo.html
_Taylor_ made these behind the scenes recordings, because she didn't do any interviews to promote the album. The whole Taylor Swift NOW thing was a promotion sponsored by AT&T (she did ads for their phones, and DirecTV satellite --- which led to her Super Saturday Night concert in 2017). And they go back to her first albums and videos. It is very sad to me that she didn't do similar things for all her music after she left BMLG. Just for the videos.
MY NEW SONG “WAKE UP”👇

Her singing this live on the reputation tour is even better
Totally I miss those guitars
It's strange hearing this after the rep tour audio I listen to every day

Am I tripping or She meant to say RAAAAATATATATATATA - RATA means rat in Spanish!!!! Or firing bullets?
@@OrlandoMarrero lmao honestly I had a hard time putting that into letters, so im not really sure what she’s trying to say 😂
I highly reccomend the live performance of this song on the Reputation tour, it's even better.
I second that!
ngl, just realized i never heard THIS version of it. i'm so used to only hearing the live versions. haha.
your face at the first ratatattas lmaooo😂😂
You gotta watch the live performance - The Reputation stadium tour!

Completely agree, it’s like she saves the good stuff for the fans who are willing to go deeper than the radio hits

Here for you.❤🤗❤
(look what you made me do) the lead single of reputation
You have to do Vigilante Shit and False God!
Hey seannnn, can you react to sparks fly by Taylor swift. It’s one of her oldest albums but it’s one of my all time fav Taylor songs 😍❤❤❤
Do End Game next!
Taylor came up with the "ratatata" part from her sleep 😂....she woke up in the middle of the night with it!
Haha that’s interesting. She must’ve wrote it down and went back to sleep!
Gotta watch this live one the reputation tour
Please react to the live version 🥺
Try End Game, So It Goes, and Dancing With Our Hands Tied
❤️❤️❤️
nice
You have to react to sunmi lalalay and tail
thx Sean ;D
Have you watched this live?
Watch the live version please
🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘
Hi can you react to Been Like This (music video) from Meghan Trainor and T-Pain
This song is so lackluster compared to her Rep tour live performances. If you liked this, you gotta do yourself a solid and watch that.
𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐓
𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐙 😢😢
This version is not as intense or good (IMHO). Pull the video from the Reputation Stadium tour. Big difference.
Video: 👍
Song: 👎👎👎
cry about it
Bad kid 😅😅
U should definitely check out Kim Petras Slutpop & Slutpop Miami! 🙏
