Why is no one talking about the fact that Ral Zarek is an Otter? At first I thought this was just more Llorowyn erasure, you know, a set with no Humans, but now I think it might actually be a plane where Humans physically can't exist, and when they go there they are transformed into Animals, which is an even cooler idea.
I really hope this is true, seeing animal versions of plainswalkers would be amazing

You know squirrels are gonna be black. And green. Lorwyn was the actual first set with no humans.
Squirrels ftw. Also, though there were no native humans on Lorwyn, human planeswalkers could enter the plane. Bloomburrow apparently turns all visiting planeswalkers into animals too e.g. Ral Zarek as an otter.

Mtg is copying Kingdom Hearts where the appearance of off-worlders changes to suit the current world, which explains why Ral and Jace look the way they do.
