When you're badly hurt and you see your friends die in front of you, all those memories you've shared with them, emotions deep inside began to lit up, filling you with endless rage and determination until you have killed whoever that could have done this in the first place. It's amazing how music can make us empathize those feelings.
You never knew what happened. You never knew what happened to your friend. You just stood there, as unknown emotions started swelling up in your stomach as you look into the deathbed of your only true friend. But all you knew at that moment, is that he's gone forever in your life. All this time,... *_...have you been taking his existance for granted?_*
"Thamar!" Athar yelled. Reaper was laughing. Laughing at Athar's despair. Athar screamed. He screamed his denial, his rage, and his hate. He charged Reaper, drawing his shortswords as he ran. His flurry of attacks came from every possible angle, each ring of steel on steel a sound of rage. He was wounded. He was hurting, and yet... His sword found the flesh of Reaper's throat and he ripped it out. The blood sprayed on his face, but he mad no move to wipe it off. As Reaper fell, light leaving his eyes, Athar fell with him. Fell beside Thamar's corpse. He had died. And Athar was still here. He didn't think he should be. He thought he should be the dead one, not Thamar. And, just like that, a soul, so vibrant and happy, faded out of existence.
In a world plagued by darkness and tyranny, a formidable villain known as Lord Malgrim had risen to power. His reign was one of cruelty and oppression, and his armies swept through the land, leaving destruction and despair in their wake. Amidst the chaos, a group of courageous individuals had banded together to form a resistance, determined to stand against Lord Malgrim's tyranny. They were led by a valiant warrior named Elara, whose unwavering spirit and tactical brilliance had earned her the respect and loyalty of her comrades. Elara's closest friend and confidant was a skilled mage named Aiden. They had been inseparable since childhood, their bond stronger than any adversity they faced. Together, they had navigated the treacherous path of the resistance, sharing their hopes and fears, victories and losses. As the final showdown with Lord Malgrim approached, their numbers had dwindled, and Elara and Aiden were the last left standing. The burden of leadership weighed heavily on Elara's shoulders, and she was determined to end Lord Malgrim's tyranny once and for all. In a climactic battle beneath the looming shadow of Lord Malgrim's fortress, Elara and Aiden faced the villain together. It was a battle of epic proportions, a duel of wills and strength that shook the very earth. Despite the odds stacked against them, they fought with all their might, driven by their unbreakable bond and the hope of freeing their people from Lord Malgrim's tyranny. But in a tragic turn of events, Elara's determination to defeat Lord Malgrim led to a split-second decision that cost Aiden his life. In the heat of battle, she made a choice that inadvertently placed her friend in mortal danger, and she watched in horror as Aiden fell before her eyes. Lord Malgrim was ultimately defeated, but victory tasted bitter in the face of the profound loss Elara had suffered. She blamed herself for Aiden's death, haunted by the knowledge that her decision had led to the demise of her closest friend. The people hailed Elara as a hero, but she could find no solace in their adulation. She withdrew from society, grappling with guilt, grief, and the crushing weight of loneliness. The memory of Aiden's sacrifice was a constant torment, a reminder of the terrible price she had paid for victory. In the quiet moments of solitude, Elara's sanity cracked, and the boundary between reality and memory blurred. She would often find herself reliving the battle, hearing Aiden's voice, and questioning whether her choices had been worth it. Yet, even in her darkest moments, a flicker of hope remained. She knew that the world she had fought to save still needed her, and she couldn't allow Aiden's sacrifice to be in vain. With great effort, she began to rebuild her shattered psyche, seeking solace in the memory of her best friend and drawing strength from his enduring legacy. Elara, the survivor who had lost her dearest friend, emerged from the depths of her despair as a symbol of resilience and hope. She carried Aiden's memory with her, a testament to his sacrifice, and continued to fight for a world free from tyranny, even as the scars of battle and loss remained etched upon her soul.
You'll never know how much you appreciate someone until they're forever gone from your life. Cherish them, let them stay in your life, even if you feel like they don't want to. Because someday that feeling will form into a comfort, reminding you that you've spent your life wisely with a trustworthy friend.
They’re gone. You couldn’t do anything. You and your friend were supposed to finish this together. But the story must continue. You’re livid, terrified, and depressed all at the same time. And yet you push onwards through the pain. Your final stand won’t let their death be in vain.
You are on the brink of death, you see light. But then you see your only standing friend protecting you, you feel so much sorrow you must avenge him, don't let his death go to waste. His body glows bright then disappears into the darkness. Now you realize, this could have been avoided but you cant change the past do what he saved you for, FIGHT, FIGHT FOR HIM!
You have now witnessed this moments many times but it still doesn’t give you any solace as you tried many different ways to save your friend. But no matter what you do they always perish.
Its kinda like that feeling. Your seconds away from being killed after so many blows from the enemy you feel the pain the rush of adrenaline trying to stop the gut churning pain. You look around as the final blows about to be dealt up on you... But then.. you see a meer silhouette pass by, your eyes widen in horror as you see your only true friend. Someone who has fought for you, been in your corner and helped you no matter what... Now standing before you accepting the final blow as if it was just another punch from your enemies before. You can't move. It hurts. You can stop it. YOU CANT SAVE THEM. ... You stand there and watch, there's no glorious goodbye, no "I love you" to comfort you. Just a splatter of red. You feel the warm liquid hit you. You feel that hollow pit in your stomach as you watch them fall. You just have to stare at them. The enemies still their staring at you with no sympathy or remorse... It doesn't have to say anything to mock you or remind you that despite fighting your whole life, despite slaying countless enemies before it, that YOU couldn't raise a fist to defend your friend. You failed them. You failed everyone. That's all you can hear. That's all you can think about, the milliseconds feel like hours as you finally look up seeing the enemies raising their weapon again.. this time.. you HAVE TO MOVE. Or are you gonna stand there?? Let your friend die for nothing? Let their sacrifice be in vain? No no no no I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't give up...or at least you tell yourself that as you shakily stand up panting heavily slowly raising your weapon. You don't have the right to give up anymore. (Lol i tried this song was a good prompt❤)
*as the gun fires, he stands in the way as he shoves you out of the way and behind cover* “- s-so…this is how I die?…” *another bullet comes barreling towards you but once again they get in the way, using their bare hands to stop the bullet as it pierces into their left arm* “Agh!- t-then..you better make this count…please..” *You load in your last shot into your rifle, wanting to end this soon but as you take aim you see your friend be shot in the chest as it pierced straight through them.* “Gah!…” *they fall to the ground as you take the shot, cleanly to the head of your target..you run over to try and apply first aid as fast as you can. But your friend stops you as the beeping of a bomb that was rigged in the building was about to go off* “Run..and don’t look back you moron..” (Feel free to add anything to the end of this comment here, I’ll enjoy reading some of it)

As you kill the vampire you see your friend reading a boon before he shoots you! You look at him with hurt in your eyes before seeing the boom he is reading is a boom of necromancy as you look back to your friend you can’t help but stare into his eyes and you see why the room had been casted into darkness and why the vampire seemed to take it easy on you………. You see your reflection in his eyes and your skin turns to ash and you start to lose yourself as you’ve become the new host for the Vampire and you finale hear his name for the first time.
