I had made this my personal theme almost six months ago.
this song reminds me of an SCP called "red reality". it's a black void that a scientist get sent to due to a malfunction in a prototype reality anchor that traps him and a audio recording device. the red reality keeps the victim alive because of it being unstable but the victim still experiences pain and hunger. the audio recorder was able to record the scientist slowly going insane and wishing for death.

this reminds me of my oc who is getting controlled by a higher being, basically being a vessel, and her memories getting erased over and over again. once she knew about it she began trying to find a way to escape. eventually, she sees that it’s no use, and lives on in this hellish environment, waiting for the next cycle of erased memories.

this is actually a really unique concept! a lot of people do remixes based on the idea of "i'm not actually dying yet" so it's really refreshing to see another take on the idea. not to say that the other ideas are necessarily bad, just a bit overused tbh
Yeah! I think people took inspiration from that kind of “video game hero” idea. It’s an awesome idea to base a remix/cover on, but I do agree, many people used it and it eventually became a bit repetitive.
