I love it, I've had plenty of F-bodys and still even today. These really are outstanding in so many ways, although they've gotten a bit expensive. At the same time it's a lot of car for the money, they have always been an incredible bang for the buck. Lastly, I honestly don't care what GM does with the design, I trust them. I just hope Chevrolet continues to make them.

Great review, Sarah. I really enjoyed the sound of that V--8 engine, as you were giving it the beans! I sure hope the penguin didn't suffer carbon monoxide poisoning, after being subjected to that blast of exhaust. Keep up the great work.

I just bought one last week. An SS in 'Orange Crush'. I took it to a friend who changed out the air intake with a larger one. Then dialed it in & now instead of 450 horsepower I get 510! Even tho the Challenger scat cat is a 6.4 liter to my 6.2 I've taken it (Challenger) down every single time!!! It does however, suck the gas!!
Yeah, but the Challenger weighs 800 pounds more than the Camaro....put 800 pounds into the Camaro, then see what happens.......Camaro weighs 3650, Challenger is about 4450....the hemi will always make more power.....the cross port cylinder heads on the Dodge are way superior.
I am in love with this Camaro!!!
I want a "new" Camaro also, one that looks EXACTLY like a 1969 Camaro!

I got the 2018 2SS Hotwheels Camaro in Orange Crush!
Infotainment?thats a tracking device.I was going to trade my heavily modded 04 Bmw m3 for a 2018 SS1LE but when I learned that the infotainment system could be used as a tracking device I declined.I asked if I could order the car and delete the system they said it couldn't be done.The M3 is still with me it looks like I'll be buying an 09 G8gt 6sp with 30,000 mls.
This is a great review that 1st time you are seen to be so intense and grateful.
It's nostalgic, hardens back to a different time. I love it!

I’m thinking about getting a 2016-2020 Camaro & wasn’t considering the V8, just the V6 w/ the 8 speed automatic. But the duel mode exhaust is non-negotiable. The part where the screen turned red was hilarious😂. You give it da beans girl!

Love my 6th gen Camaro. Best car I have ever owned hands down. (Owned 16 cars so far) Love it so much I procharged it pushing 700 hp to the crank!

Would absolutely love to see an all new Camaro! This is also why I'm a big fan of the 4th gen, which is so radically different than its predecessors, and so modern with its design direction. Would love to see GM take the Camaro into the future with a clean sheet design. 👍

the shifting of this car sounds so wonderfull, is there a seperate score for that?
I reckon it does, considering that it’s the engine and transmission working together that makes it sound so totally incredible shifting. Seriously Listen to a Ford, Chevy, or Pontiac V-8 with a high lift cam in it, 4 barrel carb in it, I forgot which carburetors sound best, and perform best, Holley? (It’s majorly high maintenance) just idling- and see if it like doesn’t make you want to put it in a music studio, mic it, and record it. Then, drive that sucker, and let me know what you think, hey? Give me the score, hey? I ain’t lying...😸😸😸😸

I own a 5th gen Camaro RS. The visibility is not as bad as people make it out to be. You see everything you need to see fine.

My wife has the LT1 just like you pictured and we love it! We didn't get the upgraded sound system (Bose like in the SS) and I will say that is a must if you are going to get an LT1 camaro.

Super video. I know I've said it before but you have some of the highest production values on UA-cam. Great composition, transitions and cuts. Finely detailed and highly professional. On another note, push rod v8s rule. Who needs German cars. Great video, Sarah.

Me too! I was choosing between Satin Steel and Shadow Gray. Both look great but the Shadow Gray is a bit more unique to me.

@@genericdenizen1 Well steam engines are great as well, we moved on from them just like the rest of the world moved away from pushrod engines. There is always to place in museums for antiquated technology.
@@tomquimby8669 one could argue the internal combustion engine itself as a whole is antiquated, but it's still around and rules the automotive market. Yeah pushrod engines are old tech, but current designs are pretty darn efficient, and reliable as well.

Funny how big the trunk actually is yet the opening is so damn small as to make getting anything other than a grocery bag in there impossible
The back seats fold down and gives access for larger items. I've gotten a 65" flat screen TV to fit in my 2012.

Currently have a ZL1 which has the same trunk. Great car but if I had to do it all over again probably get the SS. Having a naturally aspirated engine is great and the SS has plenty of power for street and track.
mg this is pure gold .. I came to hear the exhaust but hot dayum this was enjoyable.
Great review! If you expect superb cornering you should try a comparison to an SS 1LE.

I appreciated this video. I've been driving mustangs for years and I'm just starting to think about switching up to a SS2 for a change of pace. Great review and I like the dry humor.
I went from a Mustang GT to to a '19 1SS A10. It's really no comparison. The seats (way more comfortable and standard full power), interior, handling, torque, features (standard apple car play/android auto) to me were all superior on the Camaro. Mustang felt like a fast regular car in a lot of respects. The Camaro feels like a slow slung sports car with a throaty V8. Visibility better on the Mustang but that's about it.
You still can’t see out the damn things but this made me want to at least test drive one. If it could just have the visibility it wouldn’t even be a question as to an ss or the gt.
