Cool - I remember going to the pictures in England in the '60s to see the Thunderbird 6 film. Wasn't until the end that you find out what TB-6 was. Grew up watching all the Gerry & Sylvia Anderson shows.
Really nice work. Great syncing between the scene jumps and the soundtrack. I was looking forward to new character titles like your other what if, say luh vee.
Absolutly, I grew up watching the Thunderirds rerun on tv and the VHS tapes (I was born in 1993) and I loved it, it is something about the futuristic vehicles that just cathes the imagination... Those tv series of today are just... idk different, not as cool or high quality. (although I also like the 'New Captain Scarlet', but it is all a matter of taste) anyway, well done! I wish it was a episode and not a movie, they aren't bad, but nothing compared to the series! 5 stars
@penninefilms No,they only made 32: 26in the first Production Block, followed by a further 6 which used the puppets that had been made for the Feature Films
Sorry mate. I should have paid more attention to the description. In that case, well done!!! Love the Thunderbirds compared to the crap the kids have on telly today.
Great edit, Quack - like the choice of shots and the syncing to the music. Only criticism is the change of aspect ratio - suggest 4:3 crop of the Techniscope parts from the movie? How about doing alternative versions from some of the episodes? "City of Fire" teaser doesn't show IR or any of the Thunderbirds, for example...
I'm not sure I understand. Here in Australia, that's how most of the Thunderbirds series started. I grew up watching the Thunderbirds, and it's currently being rerun. I can't see what you have done vs the genuine video series.
errrrr....I grew up with thunderbirds - and all i can say is this - there is already a TB6 - It was in one of the initial episodes, and it is a bi-plane!!!
@quackvideo Why does the supermarionation (SP?) title have a exploding thing? I loved these as a kid and my dad and I always made fun of the seemingly random explosion.
Why is it that Gerry Anderson was the only one letting the heroes and the enemies in his puppet series have ordinary guns? Well because i'm kind of sick to death with laser guns. :(

I've watched Thunderbird 6 as two part episode even though was made as film
Love this edit, always wanted to do it myself.

I've never seen TH6. Loved the series though.
What I've done here is taken the second Feature Film, Thunderbird 6, and given it a TV-Series opening sequence, using clips from the film

The real aircraft, registration G-ANFMis still flying, although no longer sporting the 'Sunburst' Colour Scheme

Always wondered why Jeff Tracy was not included on the opening titles seeing as he was the head of the organization.
