Ideally yes, but we had so many nannies leave us abruptly due to personal issues, family issues and even depression. My 2 year old is not too happy with seeing so many nannies changing

Thanks for the video! I would have loved to have heard more about the background for the choice of hiring a nanny vs trying to be a longterm stay at home mother, since the costs of a live in nanny are significant as you mentioned. Great channel, and love your content! ;)

Why “mother”? Ellie has a father too, who could also give up work to care for her.
Sadly it is usually women who give up work to care for children - and the costs are immense, because of the long-term impact reaching decades into a career.
