- This is a how to video on the removal of the climate control unit to perform the light bulbs replacement on the unit control buttons. This also feature how to properly remove the head unit trims in the process.
Thanks for some of you who provided their input. The bulbs are actually not an LED but an incandescent one. They are the 14V 40MA T-1 (3MM) Lamp.

Thanks for this tutorial, super helpful! Got my bulbs and doing this today
That is great 👍🏻 You are welcome!
Have this same issue! Thanks for still showing the Pilot love even though you have the other cars
My pleasure! The Pilot had been an amazing family car for us with its reliability and versatility for years. It is now my winter daily, all arounder and Chester’s mobile, but it will remain on our fleet for its lifetime.
I've been pursuing this solution for a while. From your displayed par# I found the specs for the incandescent bulb - it's NOT an LED. The bulb is: 14V 40MA T-1 (3MM) LAMP, can be found at AllElectronics for $0.33 ea. This kind of info would be really useful to add to your description & comments. Thx
@colin ellicott thank you for the info! We can indeed share input to make this instructional video better. Will for sure add this update in the description
Do you know what are the cluster bulb size ?
@@uptownsfinest1598 ? bulb size? I listed all the bulb details including size. "The bulb is: 14V 40MA T-1 (3MM) LAMP, can be found at AllElectronics for $0.33 ea. "
@@derfiemcgoo9673 Reuse the plastic base, it's a little fiddly but not too bad.
Thank you this was very helpful! One thing I was wondering is if there are modle numbers for the bulbs for a 2007 Honda Pilot? Or are they a certain size if I just want to do the bulbs alone not the brown housing.
You are welcome! Please check the description for more info. As well somewhere in the video I showed the part number of the bulbs

How much did all the bulbs cost from Honda
It’s been a while, but they weren’t that expensive. You can call your local dealer to inquire. You can also get them on Amazon
$13 Canadian each from Honda. I ordered just the 10 glass bulbs from Amazon for $10 and replaced each individual one. Not hard to do.
