I've seen them before. At night you all you hear are these surprisingly loud claps as they belly flop on the oceans surface. Peaceful and not being afraid of humans, I pray humanity never finds a need to hunt and decimate these beautiful creatures.
I love your channel, and your photography is just simply breathtaking. Your capturing of the video footage of the wonderous sealife is so relaxing and fun to watch. The Rays look like dancing diamonds in the surf. Love it!
Thanks for this video. On one of your other videos of the cownose I mentioned I was diving under the rays. I was not sure of the species but as I watched this video and the jumping rays it brought back the slapping sound that caught our attention to flip over and look up. In the video where you filmed the cownose in deep water it look as though they were flying, however they were in water. To answer your question at the beginning of the video......its the Ocean. Thanks for sharing your passion to all of us. The ocean is a magnificent wonder.
That was INCREDIBLE! Espesially from the drone! I now definetly wanting to go there to see this! Its so incredible to see not dolphin, but Ray stampedes! I never thought I'd see! Can't wait for the next Sea of Cortes video!
You know how you have awards for films. Do they have one for amazing UA-cam videos/ documentaries? Man you would be at the top of the list sir!!! Your video presentation, narration and subjects (sharks and coastline) are superb and second to no one. Man if I were National Geographic or Nature I would be scooping you up and have you make some amazing shows/episodes/documentaries!!!!
I saw this while fishing in Cabo San Lucas in April some years back. The school was as far as the eye could see, absolutely amazing! The captain said, the jumping was for cleaning purposes.
I have no words to describe this. I am speechless! Thank you for sharing this beautiful creature with us. Oh, and btw....your voice is just as magical! You need to start getting some docs under your belt!!
Incredible! I had the pleasure of seeing jumping mobula rays in early June this year in Todos Santos, BCS. I wasn’t sure what they were at first, so beautiful!
Yay!! Love Mobula Rays and this channel!! Can’t wait for it tomorrow!! Definitely going to watch the live premiere and make another comment after I watch it! Btw, when you are close to 100k subs, I’ll film the moment that you hit 100k! You totally deserve it!
AMAZING footage good sir!! I live in Yuma, AZ and I hope to be able to make it down to the Sea of Cortez soon! I'd love to go with a group of people and see these BEAUTIFUL creatures! We must do what we can to protect all the creatures in the Ocean's. 👍👍
Wow! The Rays are spectacular, particularly the Mobular Rays. I just found your utube site & subbed. From a CA born & raised ocean gal (and a retired sailor, surfer, diver). Many thanks for showing all of us the beauty of the sea. From, Lindsay, Sacramento, CA ❤
Absolutely stunning videos. A real pleasure to watch and incredibly relaxing! I have just watched four one after the other. I loved the rays. I had an encounter with some sting rays which had been fed regularly at a beach in the Caribbean islands. They are incredible and love to rub their wings against tourists legs as they are hand fed. I would never have had such an experience and learnt more about them had I not attended the tour. We have basking sharks around the south coast of England. Also some whales will swim by coming up off of the warm Gulf Stream waters. I expect there are numerous species out there which swim our seas that I haven't heard about. Thank you for filming these beautiful creatures. I too am saddened about the amount of rubbish and plastics in the oceans. It's heartbreaking.
i'm on my last year in college, and i had a research about mobula rays in palabuhanratu, indonesia. mobula rays are often accidentally catched by small scales tuna fisheries.. so awesome to see them alive in the ocean, thankyou for this video!!!
I absolutely love Dolphins they are so graceful and mesmerizing Wow I haven’t touched a dolphin since I was a girl in Florida the Flipper Sea School they were so great to me I used to watch them and just always loved them they are special our world is full of natural beauty
In Florida, East Coast, there was a huge fever of them on the shore, and they all surrounded my legs. One of the most incredible things i've experienced. We have a bunch of pictures of it. We did see a larger fish near by, could have been a small shark.
I've seen them before. At night you all you hear are these surprisingly loud claps as they belly flop on the oceans surface. Peaceful and not being afraid of humans, I pray humanity never finds a need to hunt and decimate these beautiful creatures.
That shot of the cownose rays diving into the deep was mesmerizing, I could watch it over and over.
Same, I lost my breath.
Reporter: So why do you guys do that weird jump out of the water thing?
Ray: .. It's fun.
Beautiful. Just beautiful. I have no other words..
