great job!! 👏 question, how did you get those regions to split in 2 places by drawing a window? I have never seen that. Further, the window evidently snapped to your grid - when I draw windows they don't follow my Snap settings. How did you get the window selection you made Snap to grid? thank you

@SamLoose thanks man! I might start doing this for the reasons you mentioned. A little easier to work with audio you can see better. Also nice to have the faders more consistent. I can see why one would do this for sure. Thanks! I'll try to think of more subjects to cover. Oh! Some people think sends to aux tracks don't include the processing on the track being sent. Maybe do a quick vid on how sends are post-insert. I'm definitely doing this one day for a video. Had a big UA-camr try to tell me I must not know how aux tracks work, but that guy is the one who thought inserts didn't also get sent. A simple demo can be done to prove he's incorrect.
Send a vocal to a verb on an aux channel. Solo the aux channel. Now bypass and re-enable plugins on the vocal track being sent. You will hear a difference.

So if I set individual regions to Loudness -20 to -23 lufs is this technically gain staging? Thank you

Do you use it for vocals too? As a manual Vocal Rider?

I don't personally use it in that way, but you could certainly take that approach.

Did you just assume my region gain?
