      @@HesterEdition thanks. I did my own math on similar parts and came up with $25k as well. I found a 2020 T4 with all the upgrades used on Facebook for $14k and only 800 miles. I think I need to buy it asap lol.

    What inch is the long travel kit on this?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  5 місяців тому

      This kit is no longer made, the arms were +6 per side. We build a new set up that is vastly superior to this old one in every way! We call it the MT LONG travel kit from us. ua-cam.com/video/GmLgfB89JM8/v-deo.html

    Would this work with a 2inch lift? I have a bracket lift on mine.

      The long travel? No, this is a whole new suspension system.

    With the arched a arms did you have to add longer axles in the front On the Z force 1000 you built looking at doing the same Build as the one you did z force 1000 looked really cool nice job

      Hiya Ronald, on the Z-Force 1000 no, stock axles, we did change the bushings in the new arms from the stockers to a better quality, reused the ball joints since it was bran new 0 miles. For the most part they are a bolt on upgrade, they are beefier then the stock square ones, and with the arch gives you more useable clearance under it. Then on that one we have a 2" lift kit in order to give it more vertical lift, and fit the 30" tires, which comes out to dang near 15" of clearance, or will clear a 5 gallon bucket easy.

    I’ve had a rzr and I own a teryx now which I love but why not just go a turbo rzr with 120 more horse power? Long travel on the rzr is standard

    Did you guys had to drill new holes for the 4000lbs warn winch mount?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  6 років тому +1

      hmooblaujboi1 no we used Kawasaki's factory winch mount for the Teryx's, it fits 3000-5000lb winches.

    Can you please give a cost breakdown on the upgrades?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  6 років тому +5

      Hi Steve, I could work out retail for them, but we do awesome package deals so those prices would be much lower. As an idea this Teryx's MSRP is $16,999+ Kawasaki's destination charge of $610, we charge $140 set up and $60 doc fee, $17,809.00 "Retail" out the door. This vehicle was right around $25k out the door fully built and had well over $11,000 "retail" in parts & labor, so you can see one HELL of a package deal :)
      If you are looking for a full turn key build we can tailor build it any way you can dream, some things in your build may change affecting the price. If you already have a vehicle we can custom tailor any build package you can dream and ship to your door. (575) 445-3558
      Thank you for watching.

    I just bought a cfmoto zforce 1000, can you guys do the long travel suspension for that?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  6 років тому

      Ian, The Z-Force 1000 EX EPS is already a longer travel set up, the EX is 10" wider (+5" A-Arms on both sides). You can upgrade them to have the arched arms from Super ATV though like our Hester Edition Z-Force 1000 shown here.

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  6 років тому

      Daniel Vallejo thank you for watching. This is the Super ATV Long Travel, it retails for $4,499.00. It comes with everything but the bushings. There are a few differant companies making high end upgrades, the kit on this one is from Brute Performance. But... We do ALOT of specials on package deals, you can give us a call and we can work you up anything you want, wrap it in a nice package price and have it shipped right to you. (575) 445-3558.

      There are MANY different combinations we do on suspension set ups depending what the customer wants, and have more then 1 Long travel kit available too. We are working on a "mid travel" +3" longer A-arm set up that will be lower cost too, depending on the shock package. Can always give us a call and we can help you figure what is best for you, and get you the best prices shipped right to your door, unless you want to bring it down and we install it, then I can figure that too.

    the only thing wrong with most of these side x sides they use a belt instead of direct gear driven drive shaft like the Hondas use because ware out an have a lot of limitation in the water they can over heat an break , these manufactures need to change there system to direct shaft an never have those problems again.

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  5 років тому +1

      The cvt is quite efficient, and easy, low cost to maintain. The Honda although good in theory has its own issues with smoked clutches and failed oil pump chains, the differance is a Teryx belt is around $100 and can do it yourself pretty easy with a few tools, the honda requires the engine to be pulled and cases split and will cost thousands to repair once its 1 year warranty is gone. The puoneer 1000 has already had 2 clutch/transmission recalls.

      @@HesterEdition belt drive is an ok but i think these utv designers can build something better then belt drive. an still keep the cost down.
