    Thanks for the great video I am a current owner of a 2018 Le 2-seater and I absolutely love it when I first started looking at UTV's I was looking at the Polaris but after talking to several people that own them and mechanics at different dealerships I realized that the Polaris really isn't that well made they break belts if you look at the A-Arms the axles the tie rods the Kawasaki is far better built and Kawasaki back setup with a 3-year warranty as a former Jeep owner and Rock crawler you do not need to go fast to get to tight technical situations just like a Jeep does and if you want to go faster that can easily be taken care of the Teryx is governed but you can fix that me myself I see no need to unless you live in Southern California or someplace where there is sand dunes like Glamis or Pismo Beach where you can go over 50 miles an hour then I can see the need for a 1000cc motor but even so you can fix that on the Kawasaki if you wanted to but when it comes to writing in the woods or in the Rocks the mud or Moab Utah I think the Kawasaki is the best you can get and you don't have to spend $20,000 do some research watch videos like this one and many more depending where you live and what type of riding you are doing for me I ride in the woods and we're there's lots of Rocks and mud and the trails are tight so I don't need to go 70 miles an hour like he would in the wide-open desert hope this has helped you out

      @One-Body-of-Christ , hey, I haven't been able to find anything on removing the speed limiter other than the speed limiter for the diff lock. I have the exact same year as you. Any additional info on what I need and how to do this or even just some links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I love my 2016 but it is LOUD, and with the engine in the center it gets warm in the cockpit. Everything else is perfect IMHO. The engine is bulletproof and has a 3 year warranty. No one else comes close to that.

    Great, high quality video. Definitely keep this series going!! I could see this being a great outlet for off road enthusiasts who are looking for detailed reviews. Great job

    Great video. I have a 2018 Teryx 4 LE. Love it. It's the best all around sxs. Great for taking family on trails And fast trail riding. Plus, it is the most comfortable sxs by far! and thank you for pointing out that it has plenty of power. So many people knock the power just from reading the spec sheet but have never actually driven it. It has plenty of power even when loaded with four adults

      I love my new “S” model as well. Does everything I need it to do. Kawasaki also has addressed the heat issue with it. Had it apart while Installing turn signal kit and was impressed with insulation/heat shield on center console area. Enjoy your machine.

    Honestly turned out better than chases' own videos. Just having someone film a central person rather than film themselves looks much cleaner.

    Makes me want to trade my monster edition T2 Teryx in for a new 4 seater. On a side note this is shot edited and hosted better than most of the "actual tv shows" on the motor trend channel or any of the actual brands release. I think you have a real opportunity to put a informative fun to watch program out there where people can make informed decisions on major purchases. Lets face it these things are not cheap, and its not like you usually get a lot of opportunities to test drive all the machines you want (not on trails anyways). So its nice to have an unbiased option from someone who has ridden many machines. I say keep 'em coming.

    Really well shot and edited, but it doesn't feel like a real first ride, it feels like an advert. Needs a little more honesty rather than just pointing out a bunch of selling points of the car... thing. Pretty convinced he's driven this thing before as well, there's no 'surprise' element, if that makes any sense? Just some things to consider if you continue the series, which I really hope you do!

    • @andy_byrd
      @andy_byrd 5 років тому +1

      I felt the same. Too much of a sales pitch, want the series to continue though. Hopefully Trace gets better at talking about pros/cons instead of just trying to sell it

    • @Chris_Burchill

      I totally agree, I think it has potential and should keep going, but it's not as natural feeling as Chase's First Rides. I don't think I heard a single negative point, which is unrealistic, I'm sure it's tough though as a dealership doesn't want to talk bad about the products they are selling. This should probably be done by a 3rd party, to get a completely honest review, it's too bad Chase didn't want to add it to his channel or he could make another channel called chaseonfourwheels or chasegoesoffroad lol

    I enjoyed it, and Trace did a great job, but it feels too much like a sales pitch. Obviously that's the goal here for Mountain, but Trace didn't talk about a single negative of the machine. RevZilla does a similar series but they make sure to talk about negatives/shortfalls for their reviews.
    Also, that StoMo credit at the end is dope!

    The Teryx should be allowed on the streets! I see more and more people putting a license plate on an electric golf cart and riding around town!

    • @stephen5665
      @stephen5665 5 років тому

      For it to be street legal from the factory, it would have to comply with all the ridiculous automobile regulations; emissions, side impact protection, airbags, 5 mph bumpers front and rear, just to name some. It probably will not happen. I really wish they could legalize these side by sides for street though. They will sell even more of these if they did. I would much rather have one of these than a car. Oh well, maybe one day.

    Nice overall test. Unless your test day was 60 or less with a very cool breeze there’s no way you could not have observed this machines one major flaw, horrendous heat buildup in the drivers area. I was set to get one but after 2 hunting trips in my friends machine I decided not the Kawasaki.

  • @Zack1421x20s
    @Zack1421x20s 5 років тому +1

    Love the shots, good quality but not a real first ride. It’s more like a sales advertisement than a review if you went into go buy it you would thinks it’s the most AMAZING THING EVER BUILT then a soon as you find the first thing it doesn’t do so well you will be let down and turned off and we lose all trust in your show, kind of like I feel about this first episode came here expecting a first ride but it’s not... tell about the negatives/flaws/short comings. Nothing perfect every one knows this....fix this and you have a solid Channel imo. Trace is good on camera.

    I owned one, don’t buy it, ...if you live south of the Ohio river...It’s constant hot air on drivers legs, I mean 125degrees plus,,....and it’s loud, actually above safe limits of 85 db, close to 98-100db,,anything over 85 db, can permanently damage your hearing! Poorly Engineered.
