Lovely playing - always nice to hear the best of these plugins in the hands of talented performers. I have UVI SonicPass. I'm very happy with it. IMO, subscription services can work very well. I think Vengeance Sound (Avenger) and even Spectrasonics (Omnisphere) could benefit from going on to the subscription model. One payment - access all content (countless expansions, etc, as with UVI).

Great playing as ever Sam, thanks for taking the time to record these videos to showcase the UVI SonicPass, I never realised they had ventured down this subscription model until I saw this video. I suppose even doing a one-month subscription to test out the plethora of VSTi's they have before buying the full product is a great idea.
Love the lower bass end of the Austrian Grand at 19 minutes into your video, very deep and rich tone. I may just try the SonicPass before I buy the Austrian Grand. :)

This was a super nice review and demo. By the way, can I ask what's the specs of the computer that you are using? I find some of the UVI soundbank taxing to CPU like the Austrian Grand (run via Falcon).

I have a newer M2 computer. It can be a taxing computer, but there are settings in your DAW you can tweak to make it better (if you're not looking at those)

Great review. I love your playing 🔥. This is one VST that I could not connect with for some reason 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. I’ve been using VI Labs Piano’s exclusively for the last few months (Ravenscroft and TrueKeys). I can not pull the trigger on Keyscape, still too expensive for my blood 😂😂. Cheers and God Bless

I was surprised too. The piano's sound thin for some reason, they don't sound anything like your demonstration. I'm also no where as skilled as you LOL 😂 @@SamTheBeardGuy . I may revise them to see if I feel any different after listening to your playing.

I always find with UVI stuff, something always seems to be missing like they sound a little flat but these do sound good.

Yeah, I've felt that before, ravenscroft used to feel that way sometimes. But these sound good out of the box, and a little processing always help if needed.
