Hindy is a dead set legend. Terrific bloke right there, his treatment of daniel is exactly what was needed by the looks. Big props for both men being top fellas.
Daniel, you'll always have a special place in the hearts of all league fans here in New Zealand. You're a special person and we all wish you the best for your ongoing treatment and recovery.
We complain about the most trivial things sometimes. Andersons story along with so many others in a similar situation put things into perspective that we should appreciate what we have and think twice next time we complain about the dumb stuff!
Well said shade I sometimes have to remind myself too ,spread the happiness and help those more misfortunate then ourselves God bless danial and his fam 🙏
Nothing but great thoughts and hopes for him. As a Warriors fan when he was in charge and the heights he achieved, I thank him, but on a human level, I'm just glad he survived and hope he recovers as best he can.
Hi Ando, sorry to hear the news of your serious accident. I have a very good memory of you being my science teacher back at St Gregs in Sydney during my college days. Yr 10 & 11. I really appreciate whatever you taught me during those days. So heartbroken to hear of the news. We wish you the best and your family at this time. God bless you champ. Regards. Kenneth Kenevi, Bougainville Island, PNG.
Lots of love to the nurses, doctors and other professionals who have helped Daniel and will continue to help him moving forward. Humanity is at its best when we join together to help those in need 🍻👍👌
Had it not been for the off duty paramedics & lifeguards on the beach that day, Daniel probably wouldn’t be here today. I think he’s just happy to be alive but knows that it’s a struggle to get through each day. What an inspiration, listening to him detailing his day-to-day life ✊️😌👌
laughter is the best medicine!!! it'll get you through some rough days, as someone whose been a paraplegic since 2017 - laughter got me thru some dark days, all the best for recovery! big looooooove!
I hope to see him one day regain his mobility it would be amazing come back. A Warriors fan it would be nice to see him walk out on to Go Media (Mt Smart) Stadium.
Keep that sense of humour up as it will really help. Can see Daniel has a strength and determination about him that will take him a long way on the recovery road. Stay strong and focused, don't be afraid to have bad days the good ones will outweigh them in the long run. Best of luck for the future Daniel.
Always will be respected for the foundation he set at the #NZWarriors club, and to see him battling through physio is testament to the determination of the man. A prince among the nrl coaching elite, we were lucky to have had him in Aotearoa/NZ. #HeToa
Thoughts & prayers from my family to yours 🙏. Its times like these we are reminded life can be turned upside down in a blink of an eye. You have so many supporters over this side of the Tasman (NZ), Warriors fans will never forget what you did for our club Daniel, and im 100% sure everyone will be supporting you. The Warriors Club are behind you too. 💪💪
Daniel and Hindy seem like great mates, and I hope Daniel the best and hope he gets a lot of his function back. To me both are great blokes and premiership winners.
I got dumped and hit my head earlier in the year. So lucky nothing happened to me. Very sad what happened to Daniel. He was a good coach too. Praying that he makes more of a recovery.
I really love your resilient outlook Daniel. Inspirational. This true love and care in the guise of banter is what makes rugby league so beautiful to me. The lifelong support long after retirement is one of my true wealths. Love it.
Hi Daniel I am a Kiwi who always appreciated your time with the Warriors. I know you will work hard on your injury and I wish you well. All the best to you, there's a lot of people out here who love you and hope you get well. Love you Daniel. Cheers Greg

What a champion, keeps pushing forward full of positivity. We can all learn something from Mr Anderson's situation.......life can change in the blink of an eye so live each day as it comes and forget the little things and concentrate on the bigger picture, make memories, live life and love what life has to offer you at any certain time. Nothing but love and respect but........damn i wish i don't have to see him with bloody Roosters gear, should still be with Parramatta 😅
Hindy alot of people think you're the dumb one when the fact is you're the smart one and the most genuine I might add.🙃 Respect to both of you legends.

Thag knights player who was paralyzed his wife left him 10 years later
@@GilbertGoldberg-qg4ij tf that has nothing to do with his comment haha
Yep, the only thing missing would have been Hindy teasing him with the Flake and then eating it himself...
Very sobering story
@GilbertGoldberg-qg4ij why mention that?
My favourite ever coach of St Helens. Great to see the progress he is making and what an amazing attitude and human. A legend.

Hindy you and Fletcher are piss funny but you need to have faith in yourself and do more stories like this with other sporting champion like Wayne Rainey and our own Sam Willoughby they were at the top of their sports and have been injured in the pursuit of being the best in the world then months of rehab just to breathe on their own and of course Alex McKinnon
Hindy you have a hidden talent bro use it
And Hindy you don't need a premiership ring to be a top bloke yeah I don't have 1 either lol
Life long Canterbury bankstown supporter

'Former Eels coach Daniel Anderson "sits" down with Yvonne Sampson' - Bruh
The fact that hindy doesn’t show empathy allow Anderson to feel strong true mateship & comradie
So sad 😞
Bets coach Warriors ever had. Shame we had so many softies who moaned he was too tough on them
take care brother
kia kaha ,,,
Heres to you Daniel, prays for a full recovery, stay positive.
"Former Eels Coach Daniel Anderson sits down with Yvonne Sampson"....
Very poor choice of words.
I mean, he led the Eels to the grand final in ‘09 which was a memorable one.
Give him a ring dinger to sort that compression injury
Is this what happened to Mose Masoe aswell?
Was the next beach along never realised who it was until now
Another of people would have given up
❤👍
jesus, any more specific details of the actual incident, he mustve met rocks/reef in the worst possible way....
Very very sad
Must get depressed

Why do these "pity stories". Why revisit the trauma? You've really hit a new low to get ratings.
Dud coach and obviously a dud surfer
But obviously you’re a champion bloke loved by everyone, aren’t you…..
What a disgraceful thing to say, your father spat a dud when he produced you
