Thank you for Sunday Chat - lovely photos
I remember The Prisoner. How wonderful that it was filmed there and not in a studio.
I'm glad you had a nice visit and holiday. I always feel like I need a holiday to recover from one. But that never happens.
Short, but very informative Sunday Chat. Thanks.
Cheers, chaps.

I think the exterior shots were filmed at Portmeirion, the interiors would probably have been done in studios.
Ah thank you both. I love Portmeirion and have spent many family holidays near there over the years. The channels of water regularly change in the estuary - about 20 years ago you could walk across the sand and into Portmeirion round the back so to speak!
The walk across the sands is magical too. My old labrador cross used to react to the energy of the place and go completely loopy, racing round at high speed. I've always said I would like my ashes scattered there...such lovely memories. ...
Hiya Boyz,, appreciated Sunday Chat and your time. Sounds like you had a lovely wee visit away from all the stress. Beautiful pictures. Blessings to you both take care. Ontario Canada Thankyou 🐝
Lovely scenery in wales
Gosh that is on my bucket list of places Thank You for sharing
. you two are looking exceptionally rested and handsome Sunday Blessings🌹❣💞
Nice to get away
Sold! Your beautiful images and memories of the day make me want to dash off there! Glad to hear it was such a lovely trip. I hope you have a peaceful and restful Sunday. X
Looks and sounds like a wonderful place. Glad you had a lovely time
Oh I’ve never watched it but it’s very, very beautiful
Hi Paul (and Richard) I made your Leek and Potato soup the other day. Lovely and plenty of it. Ended up freezing it in the fridge. Keep warm, guys. Oh, and that Port Merrion place Richard, is actually modelled from a Port in Cinque Terre in Liguria in Italy. These (Five Lands) are actually beautiful and you can get lovely Foccica there...
Thanks David. 👍 We are particularly enjoying our Carrot, Lentil and Potato Soup as the months go by and I may do a video of that at some point. 👍
What a beautiful break for you 💚 it’s very much like where we live. Just up the road from us is another world from city life. The wildlife and basically flora fauna are so different 💚 yet if I walk the other side of the street it’s completely urban and “city” life
Quince advisory board !! Love it !! I'm looking out for some , hoping to make some membranillo . Have a good week both and thanks for Sunday Chat x
we're waaaaaatching
Hello guys nice to see you again Portmeirion is a very beautiful place, love it a lot. Next time you are in the area you should take a trip with the narrow gauge railway from Porthmadog up to Blaenau Ffestiniog, which is a very nice experience in itself. ❤
Hi Guys hope you are well, I don’t know if you have ever been, but the Barbican Conservatory is a great place to visit, it Beautiful and it’s Free👍. Take care.
It sounds like you had a lovely break, I hope it has renewed you for the return to everyday life.
As with most breaks... we could do with a break now! 😁
I had not a clue what was going on in 'The Prisoner'. ♛♚♜♞😁
🌹💓
So glad to see you both back, watched last weeks as well. Missed you both. I’ve moved to Cannes and still trying to set up house here. I still need to get my internet service up. Thinking of starting a vlog as well but it’s a lot of work and time. Appreciate my subscriptions and all that you do to entertain us. You got me addicted to Rupaul’s drag race just finished season 4 and I was so happy with the choice of the winner. Loved her to pieces.
First of all It's great to see you again on Sunday Chat. I remember watching Prisoner when I was a teenager and it annoyed me so much that he couldn't escape. It was so weird but I was mesmerised by it.
Bag of chips from ru Paul’s drag queens was on Blankty blank yesterday on tv.
It’s a bit like Kinsale in county cork Ireland in it’s vibrant visual
Had 2 nights at Portmerion for my honeymoon (25 yrs ago this November), we stayed in the 'look out' where at night when you looked out all you could see was the lights of hill farms across the estuary. In the morning the misty estuary, felt like we had left the world behind. Well worth it, wondering around when everyone has left was amazing ( but not cheep, a real treat).
It is great to get away but great to get back to your own bed. I totally appreciate what my mum would say after a day out, 'lets get home for a cup of tea'.
Good to see you, great chat as always.xx
Portmeirion looks incredible - and yes you can imagine it's personality changing according to the weather/time of year etc. Hope you've managed to take it easy and get some rest before 'normality' returns. Take care.
Hello you two...lovely to see you...oh I’d be afraid to keep the heat on all the time...got a heating bill of 320 US dollars....for the month...oh gosh..you two bring such a smile and a laugh..
Portmeirion sounds lovely. We have been away for a few days, house just warmed up again now. I am still feeling that 'flatness' that you get when you return home after a lovely break, it was so nice getting away from all the doom and gloom we are being bombarded with at the moment! Thank you for a lovely Sunday CHAT! x
What a beautiful place! Thank you for showing us Portmerion. 😊
Thanks lads - even if you really weren't feeling up to it after your trip. Richards' description of "The Prisoner" was spot on. As a child I was allowed to stay up to watch the programme and it made quite an impression - mysterious, quirky and baffling all at the same time.
Paul, you could make quince jam...give it away for a gift ...if it gives you pleasure and you have time. There may be some good recipes at the Quince Advisory Board 😉😁 I found the info about Portmerion along with the scenery very interesting.👍💝 Hope to go one day Thx for the chat guys love ya xx
I remember that TV series I was very young, I found it very scary
FIRST, as usual. Glad to have you back on. Hope everyone is doing well. Just a short one this week, my Mrs. Always says that. ✌❤
Hi boys, glad you had a lovely well needed break. That place though...wow! I hope you both have caught up and took time to relax. Thank you for sharing lovely video xx
As you say a robin was so close ! ? if there’s a robin so close please know that it’s a loved one returning to say hi and to check your ok xx
