I honestly love it! But I agree too It’s hard AF to keep a jigsaw 🧩 n a smooth line - for me so this is still better than my arch would have been without touch up lol
Before I even pressed play on this I made a bet with myself that it would end up beige. It's like people are trying to reduce total colors used to increase performance of the matrix. They're living like the NPCs in Free Guy.
I live in a very small town, with a lot of old Victorian houses, and there’s a small dumpster that the people in town can use to get rid of stuff. I went down to dump some garbage a few months ago and there was a dresser sitting there. It was extremely old, and the front had a curve that ran the width of it. It was beat up but omg, so beautiful if you look at the potential.. It was tall, maybe 6’ tall, 4’ wide, with 3 mid size stacked drawers on top, 4 small drawers that ran across the middle and three large drawers at the bottom. I wanted it so bad!!! But I don’t have a truck, and didn’t know anyone that had one I could use. And it weighed a ton.. idk how I’d have gotten it moved. I have a moving truck dolly and I don’t think it would’ve moved it either... Me and my 16yo tried to move it and it barely budged. It’s been 6 months and I still think about it. I wish I’d have found a way to get it home
I totally agree I feel that the faux finish will quickly become dated. A simple paint for this project would be my preference, for a piece of furniture that I could live with long term.

The arch probably could have been sanded to a more smooth shape, it looks a little scrappy as is.
I couldbt make this and she is skilled but that was my first immediate thought too
I honestly love it! But I agree too

That was my first thought
Router
I agree
I love seeing people take old things and transforming them into something that looks amazing! I'm not crafty at all, so I think it looks great! 👏👍
Such talent! A very unique creation! Cheers
To get a perfect arc on circular cuts, you can use a router and a piece of string tied around a nail/screw at the center
That’s a lot of work and skill. Very admirable
Beautiful! I would love that in my home. I love the color and the arch.
