And also a screen protector factory installed (though it's only plastic and I don't like it because the screen looks much better without it and is also easier to keep clean).
Pretty impressed with the trio of new Edge 30's that have just been released, something for the budget, midrange and flagship/premium ranges, and all have good specs for their price. I also always appreciate the clean android experience that Motorola phones have.
Motorola sure does keep on surprising me. I haven’t been notising the brand at all in years but then I bought Motorola Moto G200 that was on sale for 299€ here in Finland! That has been the best price for big phone with 108 Mpix camera like ever! And now just a couple of months later they are the first brand in the world to bring 200 Mpix camera to smartphone! Awesome! I’m falling in love with Motorola. :)
Well honestly, nore megapixels doesn't really mean anything. My one fusion+ had more megapixels than my current phone but when comparing the camera quality, you can tell the difference to a phone with less megapixels still looked better

This phone has killer specs for the price, the 200mp camera is amazing not to mention the 60mp omnivision selfie camera, they make some of the best camera sensors, I've already seen the camera review and its probably one of the best cameras this year.
I have just received this phone today and I am very impressed, everything shouts out that this is a proper flagship phone. For me, the camera is ace, very smooth, powerful, great screen, quick charging, nice design. For the price this is a no brainer.
@@dannythewanderingmonk Camera is great in my personal opinion. Good amount of detail and colours. The 200MP camera gets its best performance in daylight with amazing detail, when you take a picture and then zoom in the details from far away are very clear. Night shots with a minimal amount of light are really good too 👍 Selfie camera is okay, but I don't use it much so not too bothered. The portrait mode gets a lot of detail with good focusing on the object you want . For the price, it's really worth it but that's my personal opinion 👍 the Google 7 pro is coming out soon so that may be as good if not better so may be worth checking that out too.
Hey Chris, Acoustic lights (4:28 ) are great feature that I think most phones should have, it doesn't JUST lights edges, it lights the part of edges from where the sound is coming...so in pubg or cod, it will show from where the footstep sounds are coming
@@un_belli_vable5506 might just be a gimmick when using earphones.. But we do sometimes end up playing with inbuilt speakers if we too lazy to find them or if the bluetooths aren't done charging. Also it's a cool gimmick none the less, don't underestimate people that put rgb on everything with no reason.. This atleast seems to have some idea on why it exists!
No decent waterproofing, no SD card support, no headphone jack, no propper front stereo speakers & a dodgy palm rejection software. All for nearly.......£750. 🤣 NO WAY MOTO.👎 My first two smarts were Moto G's & i loved em, then they removed features, so switched to Sammy's S10e. Smaller but perfectly formed. My Z fold 3 has many of those you listed but when the inner screen broke (black line fault) and my warranty was Void because of a scuff. Then I also said F*** you to Samsung. Hence just purchased this.
I find this Motorola really very promising with an unbeatable price; the design, the battery and its power; I find that well this brand regains ground. A test, mainly on the camera is welcome.

I've had the Moto Edge 30 Ultra for a few days and it's a fantastic and very underrated phone. Great design, especially in the white color, it's a beautiful mobile phone. If You have some chance to get white version, just grab it. Looks amazíng and far better than classic black one. Great 144Hz display, excellent stereo speakers, extremely fast charging, wireless charging, clean and lively environment, the camera quality is clearly a flagship level also, and it will definitely go even higher after some updates. Daylight photos are great, night photos are great, bokeh style is also great, there is just one issue which Moto has to solve with aufocus, which is not so great at this moment. + superb chipset + 12GB RAM and 256GB storage space... What else You should need it for price around 700 eur ? The only thing, missing from my OnePlus 9, is the real always on display, but here is some different style of always on, which is not so bad anyway and after some days, I like it almost so much. For me this is really huge step up from OnePlus 9. And huge thumbs up to Motorola, for releasing this beastly machine. 😀👌👋👍

I bought this phone last week to replace my exynos variant of the s21 ultra and I'm truly blown away by this phone. I do wish the video frame rate was more versatile over the lenses. but that's just a small niggle. just pulled a 1314/4025 on geek bench 5!
Why is no eSim support a real shame? If eSim support is available it would make it extremely hard for people with more than one device having to constantly notify the network everytime you switched phones or having to buy multiple lines and then there's the very real possibility of them not allowing a device on their network despite the device being GSM compatible.
I really hope this one sells well and makes the brand more popular. Google Pixel 6 Pro user here and if I could I would swap my Pixel for the Motorola ❤️

@@AERNIGH Avoid 6A and Samsung! I would definitely go for the Motorola 30 Edge Ultra. I don't know how good the software support is but from previous Motorola phones I can tell I had no bugs while the Pixel 6 line all of them are having something even now when Android 13 cleared 95% of the bugs.
@@diandakov The track record for software updates on Moto phones are really bad. Google and Samsung are definitely miles ahead in this area. But I agree, the bugs do exist on Pixel 6 phones, while some are consistent, some turn out to be like a lottery, you may or may not face them. I haven't seen complaints with Samsung except for maybe their exynos chipset and thus the battery life. I gotta ask this, do you face accidental touches with your P6P's curved screen? That's another concern I had for Edge 30 Ultra.

@@dnbcatalina6192 Also not exactly. The Motorola Uses an 200MP 0.64μm 1/1.22 Sensor. The S23Ultra is coming with an slightly downgraded 200MP 0.6μm 1/1.3 Sensor. However, the difference is no minimal that the brighter lens at F/1.7 makes the difference more than just gone.
The thing I like about this phone is the fast charging the selfie camera and rear camera set i was gutted i had to depart with it hey if you need finance a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do!
Just got this phone. I love it. Watched this review before I bought it. Found it on one-act for less than the RRP of the phone (sim free). My only grip is that the included condom case doesn't really keep the camera safe.
Overall Good Specs but don't know why 12GB-256GB and 16GB-512GB variants are missing. When you innovate something like 200MP CAM then storage would be key feature to store such high resolution images (25-30 MB/ Photo) and videos. Lil disappointed due to this rest is superb!
The 12/256GB is out, but a 512GB seems to be lacking, in Europe at least. The X30 Pro (same phone but domestic market) has a 12/512GB but unfortunately is a china exclusive
I owned this model but had to give it back. The screen was flickering and the UI lagging bad sometimes and basically all the time when in battery save mode. Does someone else have those problems?
I have it as well and nope. The Phone reaches the so far Snap 8gen2 score of the Galaxy S23 Ultra in geekbench. It also managed ready for + UA-cam in background + genshin on TV + phone screen and in 30 Minutes of playing, it only occasionally dropped below 60FPS, lowest 53FPS (maxed settings in two screens at the same time). It just never lags.

Could you do me a favor, and try to firmly shake the phone's screen back and forth, and see whether the selfie camera makes small click sounds? I've just recently bought the phone, and it started doing so few days ago. I could swear, that it didn't make these sounds in the beginning. I'm using gestures a lot, so I would've noticed.
4610 is great because Motos stock android doesn't drain the battery like the Samsung S22 Ultra. I just got mine the other day and it blows the ultra out of the water.
I always wanted to try a moto device for android cause it is stock and not that expensive. You can get a flag ship chip and screen, but they always have so many cellular and bug issues where I worked. So much so our shipments have gone to little to none cause nobody wants them. I wonder if they are better i. Europe

The thing I like about this phone is the fast charging the selfie camera and rear camera set i was gutted i had to depart with it hey if you need finance a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do!

Just got this phone. I love it. Watched this review before I bought it. Found it on one-act for less than the RRP of the phone (sim free).
My only grip is that the included condom case doesn't really keep the camera safe.

Overall Good Specs but don't know why 12GB-256GB and 16GB-512GB variants are missing. When you innovate something like 200MP CAM then storage would be key feature to store such high resolution images (25-30 MB/ Photo) and videos. Lil disappointed due to this rest is superb!
The 12/256GB is out, but a 512GB seems to be lacking, in Europe at least. The X30 Pro (same phone but domestic market) has a 12/512GB but unfortunately is a china exclusive

I owned this model but had to give it back. The screen was flickering and the UI lagging bad sometimes and basically all the time when in battery save mode. Does someone else have those problems?
I have it as well and nope. The Phone reaches the so far Snap 8gen2 score of the Galaxy S23 Ultra in geekbench.
It also managed ready for + UA-cam in background + genshin on TV + phone screen and in 30 Minutes of playing, it only occasionally dropped below 60FPS, lowest 53FPS (maxed settings in two screens at the same time). It just never lags.
Thank you for the review! I was actually waiting for the Moto Edge 30 Ultra to arrive in Europe (well, ok, UK and all ^_^). And it's most probably going to be my next smartphone.

oppo and oneplus is the best choice now with color os 13 around the corner.
Naahhh don't go for oppo op cuz they come with bloatware. Rather moto is good with stock Android and best battery optimisation. Lasts longer

Considering the black Friday offer, There are pretty good devices at this price such as Motorola edge 30 ultra, S22 ultra (Exynos), iphone 13, plxel 7 pro. Can you please help me choose one? Could you do me a favor, and try to firmly shake the phone's screen back and forth, and see whether the selfie camera makes small click sounds?
I've just recently bought the phone, and it started doing so few days ago.
I could swear, that it didn't make these sounds in the beginning.
I'm using gestures a lot, so I would've noticed.
I really wish the battery was bigger! Everything else sounded amazing!

4610 is great because Motos stock android doesn't drain the battery like the Samsung S22 Ultra. I just got mine the other day and it blows the ultra out of the water.

I always wanted to try a moto device for android cause it is stock and not that expensive. You can get a flag ship chip and screen, but they always have so many cellular and bug issues where I worked. So much so our shipments have gone to little to none cause nobody wants them. I wonder if they are better i. Europe
