It's like comparing apples to oranges, the TRX is heavier over 500 lbs, it was engineered for desert racing (it won its class at the Baja its first year out) it's too bad Honda only built them two years, a victim of the 2009 Obama economy, given as many years of development as the Raptor has I'm sure Honda could have improved it alot. Both are great quads just different.

I regret selling my trx700. That thing was an absolute tank on the trails. Irs killed it on heavy terrain while being super comfortable. I want to get another one

Just snagged me a 85 200x with a 185s engine. No brake pedal no front brake caliper or hand brakes but she fkn rips. DANGER ride style.
I need parts or a idea of what works. Wtf do I look for brake mods or cheap fixs for missing sh it?
Iv never ridden a trx but i do have a raptor 700 an i have 0 complaints especially in the tight woods that power is very handy.

I had a 700xx. It was nice not having to worry about mangling a swing arm guard on rocky trails. I thought it responded well to body positioning for sliding it around corners or wheeling over puddles to keep the goggles clean. That being said, I still want a Raptor.
just a question if you don't mind.. for jumping the 700xx was any good? what do you think in comparison eith the raptor?

We do it alot on hard packed didnt help at sll in this sand it was too loose as it is

Need to get your hands on a Polaris Outlaw 525 and test it against the 700s
it would get smoked. to heavy. same with the Honda
@@fishtailfuture Bad take. I recently had a 525 IRS that absolutely demolished my 660 in a drag. From a roll or dig it just had way more power down low. The top end seemed to never stop as well. Have you ever actually ridden a 525 IRS or S version?
the tippy raptor could be corrected with sus. tuning..

Honda 700 thumper i think was more race for 660 rapter .
The Honda 700 was a joke, dirt wheels did a shoot out and said they had to run the Honda a gear lower in glamis pulling the hills and they were surprised at the low quality of the shocks. I could go on and mention the weight (pig) but there’s just to much to list

me and 3 of my buddies all had raptor 700s. They are way faster out of the hole leaving in second gear
Drop a tooth on the Honda front sprocke. They are heavily over geared stock.

Yeah the 450s are fast but the 700 raptor is fastest stock quad. I heard those brute forces are fast

People with the 700xx always think they have something until they line up against the raptor 700 and that 700xx eats dust every time!!! The raptor 700 is king!!!! All a 700xx riders that I have run have excuses why they loose!
