Thank you very much , I actually like doing transmissions , mainly Torqueflites , lining the pump by flipping it in the case is bloody awesome , I had a lot of trouble with my last 904 . I was going to mention about using a drill press to compress the clutch springs but you bet me to it 😅👌🏽 I’d like to try the governor delete but not sure how to tackle that on the Torqueflites . Awesome work man keep it up , PS make sure you Hashtag every thing to do with what you’re doing , there’d be a big US 🇺🇸 following for this type of content 👌🏽👌🏽
Thanks for the reply and i just Sub to your channel . Easiest way to do a torque flites is to just buy a Transgo kit but if you have a spare valve body that your not ever going to ever convert back to auto shift just get there stick shift 904/727 instructions and just follow and understand what there doing with there block off and transfer plates in the kit . There are 2 holes that have to be drilled in there instruction that use a transfer plate which you dont have to drill those holes and just remove the channel casting on the opposite side of the valve body so it connects the galleries together . There is also another plate that blocks a hole off but fill the hole with araldite so it blocks the hole off .And a hole on the rear of the case has to be blocked Aswell , Just put a grub screw in that hole . Theres other things you have to do but its more about just reading there instructions and understanding what there doing . Thanks Mark
@ cheers for the reply , I have fitted a transgo kit to a 904 25 years ago, still going strong in my AP6 behind a mild 318 . I think iv checked the level twice in that time 😅🤦🏻♂️cheers mate
Fascinating stuff Mark, really educational. Seeing all the archeological finds and components put to use that surely have a run or three left in them. This is what it's about. Nailing it brother.
Mate I'm enjoying watching what you are doing, It's all things I like to learn about, Challenge or not. I'll watch what you share regardless. I'm no mechanic but it doesn't stop me doing & learning new things. Just rebuilt a Master Cylinder on my VL V8 over the last couple days, first time I've done that. Hopefully I did it right, don't care if I got it wrong either, I'll find out tomorrow! Cheers. Brushy.
@@marksworkshop54Me neither haha. Just love messing with cars. Brake's Bleed & Bedded in today for my VL. I'm not doing the challenge myself. Enjoy your video's anyway. Cheers
knowledge is power, definitely a benefit that you have that stuff around but that's your good luck, what value are you gunna put on this box once built?
@@marksworkshop54 cmonnn after its fully built and manualized? remember prices like this need to be comparable to what someone else might buy, if it can handle teh power you're hoping to put out it's no way only worth $100
@@shredBucketheadshred you couldn't classify it as fully built, fully built implies using all the best/strongest parts. Sure he put it together from scratch but as he said it was all parts that should have gone in the bin. I'd agree with the $100 value. Either way, great video. Just subscribed to the channel today, hopefully see more of this stuff even after the challenge
Turning old junk into go-fast parts; this is true hot rodding. Cheers from Kentucky!
@@BlueKhaki thanks for the comment

It’s like black magic to me .
Cant wait to see how it all goes.
Thanks Stephen
