Wow. Now this was a showstopper. Best house on H&H in a long time. I'm normally an all-white house kinda guy but this is just gorgeous and so well thought out.
By far the best kitchen I've ever seen! As a student architect, this is so unconventional with how it's designed aesthetically and functionally! That hidden pantry, omg! The overall feel of this kitchen gives me sophistication and warm. Great job! Definitely my dream kitchen!

I love that she didn’t insult the old kitchen, most designers always are like “the old kitchen was rusty and dusty and hideous and would melt your face off” to make them self sound better, when in reality the old kitchens are better than their new designs. Love this!

Ehhhh most old kitchens before the renos are rusty, dusty, and hideous not to mention not even remotely practical for daily use
Tai Valentine nope they’re usually fine placed in bad lighting, it’s okay if the client just doesn’t like them but they’re usually fine. If you need to bad mouth something to make your work look better, you’re not a good designer
Aksangel _ nah the last decade of so the big thing has been renovating older homes, with bad design that’s not practical for modern usage, bad lighting as u said, but also everything else I said. Someone coming in to redesigning them listing all the problems previous don’t mean they trying to make themselves look better. It’s them listing wat was insufficient and wat needs to be fixed for modern use.
Tai Valentine not about listing the problems though, about just insulting the old projects without any constructive improvements... most remodels on this channel look worse than orignal
This has become my favorite video from this channel. This is STUNNING PERFECTION! I don't even gravitate towards modern kitchen but the way this place looked before and the way it looks now is like night and day. I want to see more from this designer for sure.

First of all, the intro music grabbed my attention. It was very different from the usual H&H music, I loved it! What I loved most about this kitchen is the elegant yet relaxed sitting/lounge area. I currently have a breakfast nook table in my kitchen that me and my husband never sit at. But oh if we had this, we would definitely utilize the space. I’m definitely going to copy this! I love everything about this renovation. Exceptional job! Martha you need a UA-cam Channel!😍

By FAR the best I've seen on this channel in a long time. You thought about EVERY little detail and created a very personal and stylish place. I could only wish for a bigger coffee table at the lounge area (it reads too far from each armchair) and probably a textured and chunky beam between the fireplace and the TV (cause there's a lot of dead space there and the whole wall is too white) but girl... you know what you're doing. That's just me being picky... I'm not even the client... whom I think must be VERY HAPPY. Congrats!!!

So they were only supposed to do the kitchen and now the whole first floor is done- that’s how you know you’re doing something right as a designer.

Great redesign! The dark wood kitchen is going to come back, but it's going to be moody, sexy, and modern like this. Not Tuscan. Not Country. The nicest white kitchens will always be nice, but after a decade of nearly every kitchen being white I hope we see more variety like this.

My family recently moved into a new town house that has dark brown kitchen cabinets.
However, since the floor is also dark brown I began to noticed that it's little bulky. So I was looking for an inspiration to reduce the bulkiness of the atmosphere...
Then the design of this house devoured my thought about bulky dark brown; wow, it's an elegant+classy but MODERN.
I praise God for different talents and abilities of humans; nice job and I also liked the previous design too~

I have a mix in my kitchen/family room:: dark stained wood, white painted cabinets, and painted greeny/grey built in coffee bar/hutch/cabinet area to look like a piece of furniture...more eclectic and hopefully will last a long time as it isn't 'one' style/type!

Nice style but the exposed LED lights look terrible and ruin everything they would just drive me nuts looking at those she needed to put an opaque strip over them so you can't see the individual lights

Finally a CHANGE I wanted to see after seeing so many white on white copy pastes!
Omg, I love it. Brings a lot of mystery and intrigue and sophistication, albeit contrasted with some lightness/brightness, into the living quarters. Perfect for entertaining. When can I move in? ;)
I’d never personally want so much darkness and cold surfaces, but it’s definitely ‘designer-feel’ and ‘luxury’ and the place has high enough ceilings and gorgeous windows. Pretty good!
Beautiful ! What is the island/back splash stone?
Different light fixtures and bar chairs. Softer features would make it warmer with keeping the ultra modern minimalist feel.

Beautiful kitchen cabinets,island granite seams sandwiched together to create thicker look? Not something I would do but maybe I don’t know the real reason, normally to create thick edge you 45 the edges
