So my wife and I bought our first detached home over a year ago (2020), and we decided to do our first major renovation and remodel. This happened just before the pandemic hit, and boy are we glad we got it done. Having an inspired design kitchen really helped us with our stay at home living.
We chose to go with SuperMatt black kitchen cabinets with a combination of wood grain for our style. Since smart tech is one of my favorite subjects, I've included a couple of smart appliances and tech that fit well with our kitchen. Of course there are tons of details that I did not get into, for the sake of this video I’ve only included things I thought was notable. Feel free to ask any questions you have about working with a contractor or designer for your dream kitchen.

It’s a very nice, futuristic kitchen. My only negative would be covering that window. But I can understand if the view was only the house next door. I would just worry about water damage if the window wasn’t properly sealed off.
It's a lovely space, defined by beautiful finishes, with nothing out of place. You can always tell a kitchen where nobody cooks or has any idea how to go about it

My favourite feature has to be the load bearing beam dress up - Awesome effort on showing what your Kitchen actually looks like when it's in use including the handmarks on black decor vs showing off a showhome! Definitely one of my bugbears when I see other presenters showing off their 'luxery hotel themed' houses and then fail to remind people that their personal homes usually don't come with maids and just isn't practical from a living/cleaning & maintenance point of view.... Another trick to keep chrome looking fresh and amazing - little bit of babyoil on a cloth ;-) - Loving the video's matey - keep up the good work!

This is exactly the colorway and design style I am looking to achieve in my home. I have a California-style ranch that was built in 1956 in Chicago. It was remodeled in the 80s and has golden oak cabinets and a 3' desktop in a 10ft galley kitchen :( I also want to knock down a wall that contains a supporting beam and have been juggling several ideas to deal with it. I love what you did. I feel so inspired. Thank you for this video.

I have never seen it before. I have this big idea of having a door as a backsplash in the kitchen where you can keep all of your items you use most. You open that big door and then all of those appliances come out like a coffee machine ,a drawer for stuff you use most. But whrn you are done you can just push the door back and it looks like backsplash. Making cabinet doors look like wall and not even tell there is cabinets. Maybe even making them same all the way to the wall and whrn you pull the backsplash door then you have the space between the cabinets. All cabinets soft close and touch screen. With a stovetop that looks like the granite with induction. I wish I was rich🤣

That would be a total challenge. If it were a "door" (of any sort), then you couldn't have one single thing out on the counter, lest the "door" would swipe whatever it happened to be right off the ledge.

Yes we got the last one floor model, which gave us a very good price, as they discontinued it. I think the added cost wasn’t getting enough demand, it’s a shame not more people were made aware of this product.

Great to see a kitchen that isn't a cliche of fake Shaker and ugly stonework together with all the other lazy tropes that pass for design on those makeover shows. I wouldn't have gone for matt black, mind, and am not a tech geek. Love the cat.
Yo! Love the fridge! Question. My wife and I are scavenging the internet to figure out how to find a fridge/freezer similar to yours. I’m guessing yours is a 66” but we’re only able to get a 48” option for our home. When you bought the fridge, did it have size options?

I’m not exactly sure of the name but it’s local so wouldn’t be common. My goal was for flat and wide tiles, and that was it.

What type of shutters/blinds is that on your glass door?
I believe they are from Blindsgalore. But I have recently updated to a Somfy motor, pricey but worth it.
How did you get that window in the fridge?
The Fridgidaire Pro had a version with glass window when I ordered it. I believe it may have been discontinued?

DNChromatic said the fridge is a discontinued model. However, it is Frigidaire Professional. It's successor in the 'professional' range does not have the glass viewing door.
