I usually listen/watch live in Discord, but I missed this week so I decided to come check out the published video version. It's so good, guys! I really appreciated the inclusion of Joel's screenshots. Cheers!

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the finished, published version as much as being there live in the Discord. Thanks for the feedback. I'm sure we'll see you in the live chat. Cheers!

It'll be interesting to see the bundle be fully vanilla, I'd forgotten that the leather version of the crafting recipe was only from Vanilla Tweaks etc until now lol!

1:09:10 As a Bedrock Creator, the thing I would want most is Replay Mod to be able to make the kinds of cinematic shots I see favorite Java creators like @bdoubleo100 making.
I am grateful that spectator mode is available now for Bedrock, which helps with timelapses.

It really does feel that the content recording, and content creation tools like Litematica, etc. available for Java Edition are a big part of why content creators mostly use that platform.

From what they said in the video, they might also change the Java UI to bring it in line with Bedrock's promised revamp.

The big reason Java will remain popular among content creators is how updates work. On Bedrock update is mandatory while on Java you decide when the update happens. That way you can always keep playing with mods, rolling over only once the mods are updated or staying on one particular version forever. You can even load an old version and play it like it's 2011 again. You bsically have access to the entire history of Minecraft and the communities, mods and servers created around particular versions never feel like they are at the whims of Mojang.
