This album came out my first semester at college freshman year. When i hear it im taken back to that point in my life. It was rough but this album and Joji helped me through. One of my favorites of all time.
I think I heard that Joji made Tick Tock quite a while before the rest of the songs on the album, which is why it sounds so different from the rest of the songs.
I only ever listen and enjoy to an entire album on my own but revisiting Nectar with your video was lovely. It’s like getting a friend to check the music you listen to out and they actually like it a lot like “yes!” finally someone who understands. Haha

An all time fave, am super obsessed with run as well. Literally could be my favorite song of all time. I think you would love Maggie Lindemann, she’s rolling out a new album right now but she came out with one around the same time as nectar called paranoia, it’s only 8 tracks and less than a half hour but crash and burn and it’s not your fault have some similar themes to run, albeit being more rock/pop punk-oriented. The entire project is top tier. Keep up the great videos! 🤍

Will He, Attention, Can't Get Over You, Test Drive, Yeah Right, Wanted U, Come Thru, R.I.P, See You in 40. I love those songs a lot and those are usually most of the Joji songs I listen to including Run, Gimme Love, Sanctuary, and On My Way Out. Hood Rich has a catchy beat too but that's Pink Guy, I wouldn't say that's Joji but it's still the same person just different persona. That's just me and my opinion though, at least others enjoyed his album. I hope me makes the kind of music he used to do before Nectar though, even with at least two new songs in this upcoming album and I'll be happy. YUKON was somewhat good though ngl.

this album is so hard to listen to sometimes, depending on how i feel that day. but this has to be my favorite album dropped that year, hands down.
I think 777 will grow on you. I thought it was a pretty weird sound at first, but after the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th listen I was obsessed
