I recommend this video to my students so that they can practice at home. Thank you Kevin, all your capsules sound very appreciated.
Chantal, This video was specifically designed for at home practice. For many years, I have had students ask for something like this (voice record etc.) and it is so wonderful to finally have it available to all.
Another helpful tool is the Set Sheet List which can be downloaded on the website at www.theawareness.website/awareness-tai-chi/

I enjoyed watching your Taoist Tai Chi set.....altho a few of the movement have been changed now slightly......all good wishes.
Hi Susan,
Thanks for watching and feel free to check out our other videos. Yes, I am aware of the modifications but I choose to stick to what Mr. Moy taught over the many years that I knew him.
Cheers
Thank you so much for this video -:)
Hi Helena,
You are very welcome. There have been so many requests for something like this over the years that I figured it was about time.
Cheers.
Thank you Kevin. Your teaching of each move is just right. I've been away from Taoist Tai Chi for many years, but want to get into again without the "gym" setting. Like doing it right in my living room. Is there a warm-up video anywhere? Thanks again.
Hi Yeshua,
Sorry I missed this! I was going through emails getting caught up and came across your comment. My apologies. Maybe you have found our other videos by now but if not, I would suggest going to our You Tube Channel and checking out all the videos there. The foundations videos should help you out with the warm ups.
Cheers

Kevin, great video! Have you ever considered doing an audio only type program (e.g. jpeg)?
Hi Tony.
Thanks and yes, we have been trying out a few different audio programs but they haven't worked out quite the way we would like. Still in process so stay tuned and thanks for the suggestion.
Cheers.

Hi Kevin what is happening with your awareness web site/ taichi set?
your movements are smooth and moving your body, arms and legs from your lower dan-tan is very good (may be you are a dancer) but i think you open your elbows entirely straight - it is not correct i wonder) and what kind of tai chi do you show? could you tell us about your teachers? please correct me if i have any mistakes with my english and my thoughts ) Thank you and wish you success !!)
Hi Hikmet,Thanks for your comments!
If you watch our other videos you will find that I mention my teacher Mr. Moy Lin Shin quite frequently. He was a Taoist monk who immigrated to Canada
in 1970 and passed away in 1998. If you google Moy Lin Shin you will find some info on his lineage on wikipedia. He had a very profound understanding of how
the body worked.
He learned from a number of teachers in China from a young age and dedicated himself to sharing his knowledge with anyone willing to learn. His style is basically
a Yang form that he modified ( with his teacher's permission) incorporating elements from his Chi Kung , Hsing-I and Lui He Ba Fa training.
The extending of the limbs is not incorrect but crucial to opening up the circulation and changing the tendons and some of his students have suggested that he modified the Tai Chi to help prepare his students for Lui He Ba Fa.
What style of Tai Chi do you practice and where?
And no, I am not a dancer by any means LOL. Just lots of Tai Chi practice.
Cheers
ok thanks for this nice explanation) you are right tai chi is changing like as life)
success to you i will write to you and your tai chi -it is so movement able))) so softly)) that is why i think may be this way will help to move chi in the body very easily)
Merci Kaven pour le beau Cadeau . Je ne t'oublis pas
Translation:
Thank you Kaven for the beautiful Gift. I do not forget you
Hi Jean,
You are very welcome!

Translation: very good presentation Tai Chi Taoísta, we are here a group in El Tabo Chile and also do these exercises
Hi Juergen,
Thanks and say hello to your group for us!
Cheers
I think this is what I need to study - is this Taoist, as taught by Master Moy?
Hi Terri,
Yes, this is Mr. Moy's form of Tai Chi as he originally taught it. I learned as a student in Calgary and was an instructor for the TTCS for over 25 years. I now teach independently of the Society. If you have any questions, send us an email through our website at www.theawareness.website
Cheers
How I wish the music not there and calling out of the moves verbally as you begin doing every move! I used to come to a centre to do. I can no longer as there are none in the country I am living now. I have not practiced for a little while and wanting to come back!
Hi Joe,
Glad to hear you are getting back into your Tai Chi. You are not the only one asking for a video like that! We have just put a new video out that has audio cues and a follow along format so it should be just what you are looking for. Just go to our You Tube channel and subscribe to the channel (if you haven’t already) and you should be able to view it. Just curious, what country have you moved to if you don’t mind my asking?
Cheers
Thank you for the video, old and new. Would you put a link here?
Vietnam is where I am. I used to do Taoist Taichi in Albert Park and Brunswick Australia.
Hi Joe,
Here is the link for the follow along "behind " the scenes video
