I agree the series is not backing down from the spiritual warfare issue and it was so great how Jesus stopped that demon as only The King would be able to do. I love both of your feedback on the series.
Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us into His image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account". That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do. It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him, again, through His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER If you have any questions let me know xx I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] John 16:33 - Amplified Bible

The Chosen is utterly beautiful to me in that everyone can understand Jesus at diverse levels. We have all had others tell us they don't read the Bible and give up because it doesn't make sense to them. The Chosen and your additional Information completely erases that excuse !
i JUST FOUND YOU GUYS AND i LOVE YOU SO MUCH ALREADY. I watch all your videos in 1 sit. At the end I watched the “Still So Alive” video and I was totally blown away. I, as many of us do, have a never ending battle with all the pain and horror of this world, and to see what you both did with your pain was so inspiring to me. You guys are brilliant about the Bible but I found your attitude about the pain, your faith, well, it just helped me so much. I know it's not God who causes it yet I felt that it was He who allowed it, But it's not as simple as that. I get the bigger picture but getting it and dealing with it every single day is another thing altogether. I am so thankful to God that I found your your videos. I love all the little and not so little details you are teaching us in each scene. I wish you would do this for all the episodes.
I just saw Season 2 Episode 8 and had no clue of what some of the serious discussions were about and who the men were even. I anxiously await for your future videos. I love you. God Bless your families and God bless

What an interesting and intriguing conversation. I am so glad to hear this Messianic viewpoint/commentary. Thankful to find your channel this morning. I am loving The Chosen and the fact that it is so thought provoking and true to Scripture. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! (Jane in SC)
Wonderful!
Loved this. Please continue to add your commentary to all the episodes of all the seasons 👏🏻

The director of The chosen sent me here! Amazing reaction, much appreciated! I loved the educational perspective of what was actually taking place within the show. Thank you guys!
Where is yours congregation? I am so happy to see Messianic elders reviewing this. I have thoroughly enjoying the series but it is so nice to hear your reactions. I am new to my Messianic congregation but have been so blessed by what I have been learning about the Hebraic roots of my faith. I shared your last review with my Pastor.
I enjoyed watching the episode again with you guys and your outlook. Including the bloopers at the end and your drum 🥁 beatbox. Great job. !!! You’ve got a new follower . Shalom!!
Love watching your enjoyment and insight of the episodes. So glad I found you two!!
I am learning so much from your comments and insights!!! Love your humor too!
thank you both for the analysis..we need to level up in our knowledge about Jesus, the Bible, Hebrew, Jews, Holy Land etc.
Yes, a running deliverance! Thrilling. So interesting to hear your discussions. And I agree with you so that helps. :)

"Out! Out of him!" I love it.
Wow pausing the video to comment really turned your reaction and analysis to a teaching experience!
Glad to hear that!
@@Grafted my only confusion about the Hillel versus Shemai rabbinic schools is that Jesus Himself calls the Pharisees a "brood of vipers" in Matthew 12:34 so how can Jesus take issue with JTB over that accusation.
I really appreciate your guys perspectives, thank you so much for sharing, God bless!
Love you guys!!! Thank you for this. This is the kind of commentary I have been waiting for. Please keep going!!
I love learning from you two. I guess I’m not as smart as I thought it was .I really appreciate you guys.
Your candid reactions and sense of humor is a great complement The Chosen. Love your affirmations on the detail to help teach us detail.
Thank you! 😃
I love this! There was so much good stuff to react to in this episode! One of my favorite parts, though, was Jesus and John parting. You can see that Jesus knows this is the last time he'll see his cousin (at least on Earth)
Yes, that was a powerful moment. Thanks for sharing!
Please do reactions for all episodes, including Season 1. Shalom.
Thank you, guys, so much for doing this! I just stumbled on these "by accident" and I am so glad that I did. Please don't stop. Having already watched series 2 (up to episode 7), it so fun to watch your reactions live. The way you are touched even to tears at some of the scenes makes me remember and appreciate them even more myself. And I love your commentary on all the clips. Helps me to understand the Scriptures better and makes me want to study more! Please keep up the good work!
