I found out my wife had an affair on 9-21, and during a ton of emotions and sadness I gave my life to Christ on 9-24. During all the anger and rage that I felt when I found out, the only think I could feel was compassion when I was about to make her leave, I made her sleep on the couch instead. We've been together for about 20 years and as bad as the situation is I don't want to give up on her and I want to rebuild our marriage but she wants the divorce because of the act, the infidelity, and the loss of trust. I have been praying for our family almost everyday and I don't think God wants me to give up either. I wish I could get her to come back to me
YOU CAN. I'm a women and I promise we fall in love easily especially with our husband or partner. Have flowers sent to your house with a note..leave her a letter or note to see when she gets her coffee or does her daily routine..love notes speak to women and say more then you could know. Compliment her even if she doesn't take it..pursue her like you did when you first met her. Women usually only go out of the relationship when they dont feel loved or something is missing inside..she would have left if she didnt love you. I hope it works out for you. Sometimes a relationship can be even better and stronger after infidelity. Be that couple❤
@@wouldntyouliketoknow1496 Oh believe me I have done all those things and more. I've written "you are so beautiful and loved" on little mirrors she uses, poured my heart out to her in a letter, bought her marriage books. Her birthday is in a couple days, I got her a sweet card and wrote her a note in it and inserted some old pictures of us when we were younger( I'm 40 and she is turning 39) and wrote her notes on the back of those. I just can't read where her feelings are at, she says she loves me but shes not in love anymore. Sometimes I feel like giving up on us but I don't think God is letting me.
@@wouldntyouliketoknow1496 I told her to listen to the song "Let me Hold You" by Josh Krajcik and told her that was from me to her. We have pretty much been together since high school and I can't imagine being with anyone else. She's all I have ever known or wanted.
Read James Dobson's "Love Must Be Tough" because it all boils down to respect. Gifts won't cut it. Basically you have to give her the option to leave like opening the door on a bird cage. If she truly wants to make things right, she will stay. I have found this out the hard way 5 years after finding out about my wife's affair and I should have done this more fervently.
Thank you for your friendship and connection
