We share with you, 5 great free camping areas in eastern California. If you are traveling in the east and southeast of California here are some beautiful camping areas for you.
Love those areas on the eastern sierras. Have so many wonderful memories of camping in those areas many many years ago when my kids were young. Bodie was one of my favorite daytime adventures, so many great hot springs along the edge of the sierras.
Right on! Leave No Trace. We even bend the grasses back up when we leave, if we've put a heavy object down (like a tent or cooler) and you'd never know we'd been there. I'd been a backpacker for many years and we'd pack out sometimes one, two or three weeks worth of trash by carrying it out on our backs. Not always pleasant and you have to bear-proof your trash just like your food. So if I can so that... Surely those in vehicles can drive their trash bag to a dumpster. It breaks my heart to see beautiful places trashed. And don't get me started on poop and disposable diapers! They wouldn't treat their own house or their church that way--don't they know that when you are out in Nature you are in God's house? Anyway, thanks so much for the lovely shots of the places you've visited. I'm going when it gets a little cooler because we dislike running the air conditioner and generator for oh so many reasons. Best wishes and happy, safe travels.
👋🏻👍🏻😁. Nice video. Appreciate the sharing. Confession ..... I’m not a big fan of the brown dry desert, never have been. When I watch all the nomad gathering videos “in the dirt” I always think ugh, location not appealing at all. I know the wide open space can accommodate a large gathering, and I’m sure one day I’ll be there. But I prefer mountains, green, and a bit of running water. Any cool spots like that ?
Omg I love you guys lol. The end... Haha but also the beginning. You're personalities are amazing. As always gorgeous spots. Nobody does boondocking like your two! It's almost like an art form 😉🤣 ❤️ Miss your faces
395 is full of fascinating history. Just off 395 to the East is Ridgecrest in which you can find The Matarango Museum where you can learn about the happenings in Death Valley. They also have an online site with the info. Great video & message!
Hello and thanks for watching . It's a clothing optional old school hot spring so we didn't bring the camera, just in case anyone prefers the privacy . Absolutely beautiful spot though. maybe search Buckeye hot springs. Probably a bunch of videos. 😉✌
