- Immediately after our Mammoth Mountain family vacation, Goose & I head north & explore new areas of the Eastern Sierra. We had no preplanned route, just a bunch of random waypoints I've put into my Gaia over time.
We had a great time camping, wheeling' & even found some locations to go fly fishing. We even had an opportunity in this video to experience some of the highest winds we have ever experienced in the iKamper. Watch the video to see how the iKamper did in these severe winds.

I know I’m dying to know. Anyone figure it out that can give some hints?! I’m scouring Gaia and google maps and trying to find it on my own but it’s hard!!

I really enjoy your videos and this one was a perfect example of the setting up camp with all of your gear, the water filtration system, the beautiful scenery, cooking on the Skottle and the two of you together enjoying yourselves. Thanks to you and Marco I have ordered a Skottle and can't wait to get it and try my hand making some of those delicious meals. p.s. the chair looks pretty complicated and lots of time to set up, hopefully it was comfortable for you. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work - happy trails...
Congrats on the skottle order John, you wont be disappointed. The chair took some practive, and being that it was brand new at the time made installing two of the support rods tighter than they are now. With all our practive now, they are not any more time consuming than other chairs that pack as small as these Kermit chairs. And I've yet to sit in a chair as comfortable that packs up as compact as this one does....Thanks you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment John. Happy Trails

The water at the lake is most likely much better than the stuff that comes out of the faucet or bottled water lol. I for sure would drink it specifically that you are filtering it. Great video.

Funnel lake and all those other lakes is always windy 🙃 my friends had a group tent he did not anchor, so the tent ended up in the lake 😁. Great video guy. 👍

Thank you for not sharing these spots! Glad you are enjoying the chairs. For those saying it takes to long to assemble. Simply leave the chairs assembled and stick them on the backseat. Last in first out. Perfect.

Late to the party, but we went to your first campsite last year and absolutely loved it. The views on the ridge are nothing short of amazing. Going back this fall to camp there again.
It is a great spot. But boy, that wind can get ripping thru there. And nothing worst than trying to sleep with the wind howling all night long. But, in the end, even that wouldn't stop us from exploring. It just adds to the adventure.
@@395jnky yep. An unexpected thunder/lightning storm rolled through while we were up there. Just added to the memories haha.

Was where you were starting at the 14:00 minute mark in June. A big blizzard came through, insane wind and whiteout conditions. Was a beautiful weekend in a most beautiful area. Love that place.

Loved the video! Good team and really enjoyed the 2nd spot because I enjoy that spot a lot! Been there overnight once and the winds were CRAZY! (thought about packing it up about 10 that night as it sounded like a freight train was rolling through) Probably worse than your first camp spot in this video! Always enjoy fishing there! For others if you know where it is 4x4 road or high clearance only!

@@395jnky This was before I got my trailer and RTT. So I was on the ground and needless to say I used every possible tent stake I had! LOL! Again thanks and good luck. Been wanting to take my brother back there with the trailer soon!

Like your vids bro, also here is a little cooking advice, next time you cook chicken breast, add a tablespoon of cornstarch to the raw chicken and mix it very well. This will make the chicken juicy and crispy . Anyway great vids
