    Many of these have become my go to product since I started watching your work Sandro. CQuartz UK3.0 is about to enter its 4th year on the cars of one client. Cars are always garaged, cleaned fortnightly using the multiple mitt method and a sacrificial coat of CarPro HydrO2 Foam always applied after the wash. Keep up the great work Sandro. I know many of us hang out for each of your video releases as they are just so damn well done. Lloyd

    Concur completely with the 303 Protectant. I've been using it for 20 years, and when I first used it, it surpassed and out lasted Armor all so much, I never bought Armor All again. It's not greasy, dust and dirt will not stick to it, and even on exterior plastic parts, it hangs on better and will not streak once dew or rain hits it and runs off. LOVE the stuff. It's the only one on your list I've had experience with, so I'll be looking for your other recommendations to give them a try.

    303 Aerospace Protectant is good stuff, but I do think it attracts dust. Pinnacle makes a coating for plastics that works better, but isn't easy to find, and it's much pricier than 303. One great thing about 303 is that you can get it in tubs of wipes. They're perfect for engine compartments, especially on hoses and wire looms. Another great product you didn't mention is Carpro Eraser. It is super-easy to use, smells great, and leaves a perfect surface for coatings. It's worked well with every coating I've paired it with. Keep the reviews coming! I hate buying a product that is a pain to use and doesn't perform. I've bought more than my share of them, that's for sure.

    I agree with your opinion on c.quartz. 1.5 years is the minimum you will get out of it if you dont look after it, but on the other hand I coated my sister inlaws car 2.5 years ago and its still going quite strong. I showed her how to wash her car and take car of it and it really does extend the life.
    I feel as though companies advertise the maximum life you can get but most people who get coatings probably dont realise how much you need to take care of it to get that life out of it.

    Nerta Diamond Active Foam wash. I pay $260 for 25L. Makes a great strip wash, change the ratio and it'll safely degrease your engine bay (i used it to detail skyline enginebay), and will strip baked on brake dust on your rims. Change your ratio again and you can use it to clean parts, I pulled of the manifold on a Nissan patrol 3ltr deisel, it was inches thick in carbon, soaked in Nerta for 20 minutes and it looked bran new. Change ratio again and it pulls stains out of your carpet.

    Sandro , apologies for the back and forth re Wise Guy wheel cleaner. Just to confirm your response. Since Shien Supply says to NOT use Wise Guy on coated wheels, they do suggest to use their other wheel /tire cleaner “Cool

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  Місяць тому

      No, I personally not big on claying a ceramic coating (unless I’m trying to remove it) as it will leave at least some degree of clay marks/swirls and also compromise/degrade the coating, again to some extent. I just prefer a chemical decontamination without mechanical claying.

      Yes it’s just crazy how much everything has gone up, it was closer to half that price a couple of years ago. But I’m looking at other APC/Degreaser and they’ve all gone up in price. I think using WiseGuy more heavily diluted at 1:2 1:3 or even 1:4 could still be a better option than many other cheaper alternatives.

You also suggest the alternative wheel cleaner from them. And can it be used for both tires and wheels? Thanks so much a big fan from the US.

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  Місяць тому

      Yes it can be used for wheels and other areas as well, but as mentioned it should also be diluted accordingly- I’d say about 1:5 to 1:10 for a wheel maintenance cleaner and that can also include maintenance cleans on tyres - you don’t need to use it 1:1 unless you are stripping back the tyres/wheels during a decontamination clean.

    What's your take between Bilt Hamber Auto wheel & Vonixx Delete vs Wise Guy wheel cleaner...??

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  Місяць тому +1

      I love Perl on older vehicle (pre-2000) as it tends to match the finish and sheen of the trims in that period, but tend to prefer 303 on most later model vehicles (post-2000) as they tend to have more matte factor finishes in line with its finish. Both are fantastic in IMO.
      I’ve tried a couple of Bilt Hamber products (haven’t tried wheel & vonixx delete), the brand is very pricey here locally and not the easiest to get a hold of.

    Could you recommend any product for removing tree sap which is safe for ceramic coated paint? Another question I have is about ceramic coating, in Melbourne some detailers are offering ceramic coating that is self healing. Are these technologies proven? Thanks

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  Місяць тому

      A tar remover like Tar-X can work well for tree sap, be safe on a quality ceramic coating, but may require multiple applications and patience.
      Self healing coatings do work and it’s actually a characteristic that many coatings do in fact share. It typically requires stacking the coating with 2-3 layers but is also important to understand that the self healing ability is usually up to 12mths even though the coating will last longer, so it’s more of a feature that is really good at first and then fades and realistically is only successful on lighter swirls.

    are ipa safe for cars plastic clearcoat? i heard its not good longterm, and doesnt 100% remove all oils and stuff

      Some clear coats are more sensitive than others and all chemicals (including IPA) will to some extend negatively effect every surface they are applied to. But not cleaning or using chemicals will also have negative effects on all surfaces and process. It’s trying to find a good balance of using the least aggressive method/product as required that still works effectively that is the goal which is not always a clear cut thing.

    Sandro, is Purify safe on ppf?? Thanks dan

      Like most stronger decontamination chemicals it is safe on PPF when used as directed. Any risk is more about being careful around the PPF edges as not to encourage edges lifting.

      I’ve been testing it out a little, but haven’t spent as much time with it as I’d like.

    I have wise guy but Adam's wheel n Tiee cleaner comes in up to 5 gallon size using it just slightly diluted like 30 percent water 70 percent Adam's wheel n tire cleaned both wheels and tires far better than Wise guy on a salvage car that was absolutely thrashed I mean it wasn't even close

    It should be well known that no product let alone and interior spray product will
    block UVA rays or reject heat, this does neither. It adds some sheen to the
    plastic and leather albeit minor which i prefer none. Rather have a clean
    dash/infotainment that slapping on some "uv protection" film over top that
    does next to nothing for "protection" and has a few negatives. God forbid
    someone use it on a tonneau cover or a boat, it will wash away from rain..
    A windshield tint will do far more for blocking UV rays and rejecting heat than
    any of these products. Tint manufacturers state how much UV their products
    block, as do sunscreen manufacturers and sunglass manufacturers. Until
    detailing product manufacturers do the same, I'll just treat "UV protection" as
    marketing BS.
    Not sure why there are glowing reviews of this product for over 20 years...what
    because it doesnt go on a gloppy glossy mess?.its claim isnt proven and
    actually proved to be the opposite with some testing online. Detailing product
    marketing is truly the wild west for you to buy more products..crazy.

      @@SlyperehGypseh? He's right. None of those products provide any significant UV protection. Why are you bothered by facts?
