They're supposed to be tight (comfortably tight, not cutting off circulation) but I'm pretty sure that's what she meant. Allegedly killed it, but apart from that, I don't think anybody really knows exactly what, why or when. One thing I will add is that whatever happened, her mother must have been extremely unwell to do such a thing. I doubt either of them will tell us what happened. Just heartbreaking to think of an animal suffering in anyway. If anyone ever tried doing anything to my guide dog, they would have to get through me first. I can't imagine what the person must've been feeling about losing their service dog in such a way. Again we don't know the situation, but I just can't even wrap my head or comprehend it. Just awful. X
