Serious question- is her safety at risk because she would be targeted due to her weight, or do you mean it's just hard to travel due to physical limitations (sitting in seats, walking long distances)?
Trying to figure out if obese folks should avoid Kuwait in particular, or if she'd have the same issues traveling to Kansas
She probably doesn’t stand out too much, I think (!) I read somewhere, that some middle eastern countries dethroned the US folks in having the highest obesity rates.
@staceyy6064 She definitely is at more of a risk of being targeted for violence/harassment in Kuwait for being a woman rather than being obese. Google tells me 40% of adults in Kuwait are obese but that also doesn't mean they're close to as big as her (for example, I was considered obese at 5'4 and 160 lbs). But traveling at 400+ is uncomfortable and possibly dangerous.
