Great video and very nice plane. I just have one comment about the two thin sheets: If they're wedge-shaped, then you'll have a problem when gluing them up. Thus it would be safest to just plane one at a time. If, however, they're the same thickness on all sides, you can use this method without problems.
I'm afraid I stopped making the planes a while ago now. Veritas do a side fence which can be used with longer planes in the same way. All the best, David.

Well, this was a long time ago. I am wondering if you did anything special for gluing the lignum onto the bubinga? Nice graft line in that walnut too.
