hi i have burner honeywell model rm7890a1015 and key board display s7890a1142 . by the way i have 2 module rectification flame amplifire and ultra violet flame amplifire. .my question is how can i change the parametr for burner amolifire with the keyboard display module ?and another question i dont have any flame detector ,i want to test controller . how can i do
As I said in my response to your question regarding the reader, the S7800 display is NOT used to change the parameters for the RM7890. That is a whole other topic far beyond this Channel. I have no idea what is going on with your other questions, sorry. You are going to need someone qualified with RM7800 controls to actually physically look at what you have.
7800 won't go into Alarm. If any of the safeties trip, the boiler shuts off as intended but will not generate the alarm at burner controller. (Bottom alarm light does not turn red and does not provide power to alarm light on panel or buzzer) Site has 3 boilers all have the same issue. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
If you only had one boiler, I'd suspect the control itself was going bad, but all three? Hmmm. I don't know. Is this a new problem or has this just started? Is it some kind of wiring issue? Can you pull one of the controls and take it to a controls vendor who has a controls tester?
@@l.crossjr Ah! And I presume the same installer put them in at about the same time? I'd maybe get in touch with the burner's tech service and run it by them. This all is starting to approach the vast frontier of my ignorance.
I don't think so. As far as I know, the reader does just that, i.e. it reads out what is going on with the FSC. I suspect it would not be a good idea to allow anyone access to parameter changes in such an important safety control.

I get this purge hold (high fire switch) ringing all the time. What can this be? Help!?
Going out on a limb, I'd check if the pressure switch proving air flow is working.
I have my own personal 7800 digital display i keep on my truck
