We just need people to catch the ball consistently…neither Allard or any of the receivers have shown me that to date…focus on that with the existing players rather than keep rethinking everything…of course if someone fabulous shows up in the portal why to grab them…

The Golden Boy and his scapegoat. Good QB's make receivers look good. Maybe the problem is at QB? Eight 4* receivers can't all be bad.

So Michael Robinson made OJ McDuffee look good? I don’t understand your thought process. Was Montana better than Rice or was Rice just better? We can even look at Randy Moss he never had a good QB unless you think of Chad P so my thoughts are that you play great yo become great it takes a whole team not just a QB.

Its easy to blame the WRs...why not look at the HC/OC...KLS will go to another school catch 50 balls for750/1000 yards this year..no one will say anything because the golden boy HC will take no blame but throw others under the bus.

Look, we need GOOD receivers, it's pretty clear that Lambert Smith is NOT that. Good riddance to bad rubbish. There's one of two reasons why he'd leave. 1) He's just not good. 2) He's really not smart. It's likely a combination of the two. The guy would have had the chance to be the #1 receiver, instead he's going to leave and go where? Another team the needs a WR more than we do? Where would that be? That landing spot doesn't exist. Then on top of it he'd have to learn the playbook, and click with the guys there. It's just an incredibly stupid move. So why make it? Well if you're expected to step up and be "that guy" if you just don't have that ability, if you don't have that skill set, you look for a landing spot where you could be productive, and at the same time use it to get into the pros hoping that they might think you have better skills than you actually do. Here's hoping that Keandre Lambert Smith enjoys seeing Penn State win a national title from his apartment at Akron, Temple, or South Central Louisiana Tech.
