PSU lost a player who had 2-28 yards his last 4 games. And also disappeared the biggest games of the year. How is that taking a hit?
Florida Wawa not as good as Philly Wawa.
KLS wasn't great, but PSU didn't scheme any of their WRs open. By the end of the year, they were predictable. They got scared to even try to take deep shots to stretch the D.

KLS had years to develop into a top-flight WR who would strike fear in the opponent's defense. But he didn't. Now that he departed maybe it will open things up for some guys to step up and take advantage of the opportunity. It can happen. They have a bunch of guys on the roster at WR. Penn State has to have enough of a passing game to get critical first downs and open up the defense for the running game. Otherwise, Penn State is going to see 8 guys around the LOS shutting down the run. And losses will follow.
They should have hired Bobby Engram as the receivers coach, fact!!!!
I saw that clip. I told that dude I can take a 2 minute cut up and make every QB in the country on every team in the country and make them look bad. Very unprofessional and should be relieved of his duties
I think the thing is, J.Fleming and Tre Wallace and T. Warren they are fine!!! But, since they don't have a true number one, K. Saunders, A. Evans, and even M.McClain need to step up big time and it is still early and a new system in place!!! They need it to be a group effort and it will open up the running game as well!!! WE ARE and shall see 👀 Nittany nation!!!

This has been a problem for awhile, Drew won't develop because if you don't have good to at least better than average WRs it makes for another long season. Teams will stack the box again and the offense will be below average. On a good not we should be able to beat division 3 teams. We are 😂

I really dont know why any top QBs or WRs would sign with PSU under CJF. Theres no development year-to-year. QBs have to run for their lives, WRs have to get themselves open in spite of the scheme. I think Sirianni and CJF are much the same. Decent CEOs but weak in terms of offensive coaching, especially in-game.
