Hey Mike - great video and I love your humour - very entertaining ... AND very informative ! - far more so than the Logitech website itself. I am using the Logitech C922 Pro and have a "window" background so thought the Logitech Litra Beam could be my Key Light - but I have been sceptical about purchasing it as their website suggests this is angled towards "Gamer's " - and I'm only using it for video creation - but after watching your video I think that this will probably be a great Key Light for me - many thanks!

It’s a great light that I use as my center light above my main monitor. Most versatile light I have in tight spaces. After a few months of use, I still prefer bigger panel LED lights to my right or left if I’m going to use just one light though. I recently purchased the Raleno LED panel light for just $49 for a future video review - it is AWESOME if you need great lighting on a budget that is cheaper than elgatos lineup. gives more flattering/softer light over more of my face, and it has built in battery to go cordless if you want to set up quickly somewhere and don’t want to worry about cords. I will be shooting video for a review later next week!

Thank you so much for that insight Mike - as you've probably realised - I'm a raw beginner with video lighting! I originally started off with two soft boxes (which took up a lot of room) AND they were on a "dual" controller - but I couldn't get them set up properly - every time I changed one light - that other one changed as well! ... MOST infuriating! So they're now packed away and I'm looking for something that's better - hence my interest in the Logitebch Litra ... I also like the double sided one too - (the LITRA BEAM LX) - which is white on one side and RGB on the other - thought that might be interesting for video Lives perhaps. I've taken a look at your link to the Raleno LED PLV-S192 soft light that you mentioned which looks cool too - I'll place the order this evening (or tomorrow if I run out of time!) Thank you very much for your help Mike - I really appreciate it!

Seems like you need 2 of them on either side of monitor. Perhaps one would work in the horizontal position if it was directly centered behind monitor. Reason I say this is because one side of his face is lit up and the other side is dark and shadowy.

Im using the same litra and the same facecam, but the whole image appears like a crap, confronted to yours...poor defined, a lot of noise factor and the light is not able to illuminate me properly...if I would turn off the light like you did the result would be terrible in my case. I dont think it could be a GPU issue, cuz I dont have a GPU at all at the moment...

The other thing I worry about with stream lights is that the bright light right in your eyes is a big distraction from the game being displayed on the monitor. Would it not be too overpowering on your eyes?

That is the main light I use for gaming, I put it 45 degrees to my left, on its lowest setting and I don’t get headaches and I can see the darker areas areas of my screen ALOT BETTER. I think because it is longer, more wide, than a key light or key light air, It doesn’t have to be turned up as high to disperse more coverage on your face.

I have 2 lights full striking at the wall in front of me so my room has enough light and my eyes dont get fucked bcs really man the lights striking eyes after 1 hour of gaming was annoying

One month in to starting this channel. Growth is a process. That’s why we start, we learn, we grow. Nobody is a seasoned pro coming out of the gates. Can’t get to the summit of the mountain by taking shortcuts. Gotta learn, grow, and sometimes it’s ugly. Never a reason not to start. But “learn we did” on this channel. About to be monetized in less than a year doing tech reviews. Gotta just hit record, self evaluate, and continue to evolve. Thanks for the feedback. Appreciate you willing to watch the video on this channel. Have a blessed one my friend.
