The only Turtles game I didn’t own on the NES until the Cowabunga Collection. I didn’t remember the NES port for whatever reason. 8 bit fighting games were very different from the 16 bit era that took fighting games by storm. Karate Champ set the standard for the 8 bit generation while Street Fighter II set the standard for 16 bit. So don’t expect this game to play like it’s 16 bit counterparts. It plays like an 8 bit fighting game. I guess it’s late time of coming out make it forgotten. The last NES games I played before moving on to PC gaming were Kirby and Mighty Final Fight. Somehow I completely passed on this one. At least it has cutscenes like other games in the franchise.

is fun how with all heroes when you finish the game the story is just the same haha yep cool time was :D i wanna bck in time again

This is not a NES port, this is an original game and an exclusive.
