One detail that I actually really do like about the music for this fight is how the bells can be heard all throughout it. It does add more weight to it because of the history of the LB and the meaning of the bells.
Y'know what? Maybe Morgan wasn't wrong. Tried her damnedest from preventing the Fae from dealing with their own mistakes from the past only to get backstabbed? These Fae had it coming.
Wait, people didn't notice we were circuling Great Chungus? The scenery is moving behind our party to. Also, anyone else love how Baobhan's theme is encapsulated by bells? It could also be the only moment of peace she's lived her entirr existence
I think someone made a very sad comic about this. If i remember correctly, it was Baobhan Sith's dream, she was dancing in a big hall, praised by everyone and doing spins with her heels. Annoyed by the priestess, the fairies tricked, betrayed and killed Cernunnos and the priestess and used the body of the priestess to create new humans.

@@umbra7853 SPOILERS But essentially the divergence date for this LB was the fairies were too lazy to forge Excalibur and Velber wiped out all life in the world and sank the continents. Gaia was understandably pisses off about this, so it decided to dispatch Cernunnos and it's priestess (the last surviving human) to punish them. But Cernunnos was too kind to punish them and decided against it. He even decided to give them land to live on granting them the chance to go to avalon. But the fairies weren't sastified with this, and wanted Britain back. Thus they backstabbed Cernunnos poisoning them at their feast, and using their corpse to build Britain. Then they decided to use a magecraft to keep the priestess alive chopping her up into six pieces, and using her as the basis for the humanity of the Lostbelt.

Makes you wonder about if Morgan knew everything about what would happen if she died. When Beryl summoned Morgan Le Fae(Ruler) she rayshifted her memories to Tonelico so that she will be able to change history. But doing that is pure taboo, so it killed the Ruler Morgan but it helped Morgan(Lostbelt) plan everything. So: what was the original Lostbelts nature? It’s possible that Vortigern was in control of the Lostbelt and when Morgan did it to remove him because she is aware of Vortigern’s nature. But in retaliation, Vortigern summoned himself once again as a Servant, but when he did he was too weak to even move but when the children Fairys mistook him for a prince it stabilisd his spirit graph. He did think he was Oberon, but when the forest burned... he identify as Vortigern came. In reality: the villain was the hero but one of the allies was the villain.
Vortigern was always Vortigern. The Oberon persona was fake and was granted to him by the Welsh fairies so they'll have a king. In the end, there was no Oberon spirit graph. Only Vortigern. He was summoned by Britain itself because Britain wanted to die and wanted to take along every godforsaken fairy living on it. I mean, can you blame Britain? Those fairies don't deserve any pity, especially the original six.
@@ShinHakumen Slight correction, the Saint Graph is indeed Oberon and Vort both at the same time. Only Vort was originally summoned by the land of Britain, but the name Oberon is fused with it because the fairy of Welsh practically vandalized Vort's Saint Graph. Imagine pages of report detailing Vort as a person, then you add a few pages detailing Oberon as a person. Now you have pages describing two different people, thoroughly mixed with each other. Except you have no way of knowing which pages were the first one there and which pages were added afterwards, so you can't separate them. That's the Servant Oberon-Vortigern.
I also think he attempted to get rid of morgan multiple times after she invaded from orkney. First I believe it was in the 1000th year of Morgan’s rule he was the first great calamity and the mors king as it is implied in the game. But when he failed he realized he needed to wait for other people to join since he couldn’t do it on his own (chaldea and Castoria) but I think it’s also implied he fucked with morgan in the meantime starting the whole caterpillar war and the black dogs with barghest and orchestrating the wing clan’s destruction. But yeah I agree with morgan she should’ve sought him out immediately to remove the threat in the shadow’s and she failed to act on the fact that the calamities grow and build up overtime in fairy britain and there could already be an imminent threat hiding in the shadows. p.s. also isn’t crazy how this is the only lostbelt with actual notes that record its history? Just shows how much history and information this LB has compared to all the others so far
Yeah, definitely the original king was Vortigern. Although, he wasn't so much as a 'king' since he basically freaking obliterated the first version of the lostbelt. But still yes, he was the one in authority at first nonetheless

There’s a reason to this one, though. It’s calling back to the bells that Castoria rung through her pilgrimage, at least that was my understanding of it.
The bells are signifying the 6 faerie clan’s acceptance of their original sin against Cernunnos and their plea for forgiveness; this is probably the theme that bells have the most reason to be in.

Vibing to his own theme
One detail that I actually really do like about the music for this fight is how the bells can be heard all throughout it. It does add more weight to it because of the history of the LB and the meaning of the bells.
Y'know what? Maybe Morgan wasn't wrong. Tried her damnedest from preventing the Fae from dealing with their own mistakes from the past only to get backstabbed? These Fae had it coming.
Other lostbelts be like: "Patxi! Gelda! I'll miss you! q.q"
Avalon: Fuck ALL of you! Burn this world to the ground LETS GOOOOOO
Wait, people didn't notice we were circuling Great Chungus? The scenery is moving behind our party to. Also, anyone else love how Baobhan's theme is encapsulated by bells? It starts after and ends right before the calm bells that powered up her rival, Morgan's other daugther, and made her the next queen. It could also be the only moment of peace she's lived her entirr existence
I think someone made a very sad comic about this.
If i remember correctly, it was Baobhan Sith's dream, she was dancing in a big hall, praised by everyone and doing spins with her heels. Then the camera was going more and more far, showing her in the Divine Core of Cernunnos, and finally Chaldea's team, seeing Cernunnos do spins in front of them

But essentially the divergence date for this LB was the fairies were too lazy to forge Excalibur and Velber wiped out all life in the world and sank the continents.
