Hi Rick. Nice to meet you on LuckyDawg. I love my instant pot. As a full time RVer we use it quite a bit. I am still learning so I plan on watching everything you have. Thank you so much for sharing. Stay safe and blessings to you. Sherry
That looked FANTASTIC! First time watching ... 🤙🏼🤙🏼 I want to do same ... but idk how to control the valve buttons .. (I am brand new at the insta-pot) any guidance what I do with the valves 1st so Ik it releases steam at normal pace Thanks!
Hi Cali, if you want the valve to release the pressure on its own leave it closed and after cooking the pressure will naturally release in about 15 minutes if you want to manually release the pressure open the valve and all the pressure will release in about 5 minutes just be careful steam is hot. Thank you for watching I appreciate it my friend.
Looks good! London broil always good in pressure cooker! Makes good beef stew to!! Love hearing dexter calling u in the back ground.. he makes me laugh...
@@CookingwithRick Ooooh it was! It was so much better to me! The meat was more buttery, even the fat dissolved in my mouth.TBH, I may never thaw my roasts again💖☺️
Another amazing meal from Ricky (and Dex). My hubby would love it. Two kinds of potatoes. He's 5'8" 130lbs. and needs all the carbs he can get. And BTW I am IN LOVE with my indoor smoker! You didn't steer me wrong on that one. Or anything else for that matter.
Hi Mixed, the roast was really tender and delicious, I am so happy you like your smoker. Thank you for watching and commenting I appreciate it my friend.
Hi Roland, if the roast is fresh cut it in half brown it put it right in the broth pressure cook for 45 mins quick release of the pressure add the potatoes and carrots pressure cook for 5 minutes let it natural release of 10 minutes then quick release m so tender. Thank you for watching and commenting I appreciate it my friend.
Hey Rick, I could hear Dexta call out to me in bird talk "Hello David" LOL!! Well say hello back to him for me, will you? Question Rick, Do you ever just use the Instant Pot (under pressure) just to cook vegetables? or if you are just cooking vegetables do you only use the steamer function of the Instant Pot for that?
