They probably realized it stopped charging and before the battery became completely dead. They factory reset it knowing they would probably sell it or something . Great video Joey .
I've only watched the first fix. The seller appears to be honest so far which is good and unusual. Ill give you a good chance of getting all 4 fixed. Good luck! on to Switch number 2.
To give a more accurate part price going forward Joey is if you go to replacebase as their price tends to be the going average cost. Just helps you out getting definitive vs ebay various.
Nice Video mate! Sound silly but I also repair the switch rails sometimes (eg. when I've no spares). You can push the little metal pin near the connector and you'll see It's really easy to track and repair the flat cable
If you think about it with a parts switch. If you replace the joycon rails on another switch and the game card reader with one parts switch. That parts switch is already given you your money back.
Cracks me up every time I hear repair guys say "p-13". I just imagine all the people at Pericom being like "It's an i! c'mon! It doesn't look anything like the 1!"
Was I mistaken, or did I see you miss the cap under m92 beep on both ends? I swear I heard a short beep at the top followed by a beep on the side that should beep, unless that first beep was from another component, I think that cap is shorted. I'll have to watch the rest to see if you fixed it or not. If not, that may have been why.
I actually wonder if Switch Number 2 was damaged from the factory or during shipping from the factory which could explain why it was on that screen. Not everything is gonna be a perfection from the factory.
I keep meaning to send my £17 one off, SD card reader has failed and it no longer docks again but not sure if its dock or Switch but will get round to it one day.
Hey Joey, just found your channel, loving your vids! You should try playing a game on the switches to ensure they don't have any faults, like graphical glitches, when the CPU/GPU is under load. Keep up the good work!
I say, without knowing the condition that you will have a 3 for 4 but I do wish you a 4 for 4. Because it is always cheerful not to have to send it to landfill. Profit is always nice, it is tough to achieve with all the fees though,.
@@allenrichardson9084 and I said only some of the serial number from the first version. There is a list trust me I had a first version and found why it didn't work. Not all first versions can be jailbroken.
Ahh amazing, thanks :) only issue is that it would massively put me back behind schedule as I record all in one day. But I’ll deffo get some for the future :)
@Joey Does Tech even if you buy them and then when you are not busy you replace them on the other damaged ones. This then is pure profit minus £3 a cartridge slotas the slot was free as was broken
Thanks for updating the eBay fees to 80% off. Just wondering, how do you manage to get that discount? I've sold a lot on eBay and never get it. Great video and nice fixes
Check out the second part to this video here! ua-cam.com/video/5-tcJwamGZU/v-deo.html
It’s nice to see people actually fixing things instead of throwing them away.

I don't usually care too much for these types of videos, but I'm hooked on yours. Keep up the great work.
Boom! 2 out of four we have and Sally is happy.
You treated it as such a surprise but as soon as you held up the box I immediately knew it was switches.

First time watcher and immediate subscriber! Your content is really good! I hope you get to a point where you can release more videos!
Thankyou! I hope so too 😃
Your quality of the video has improved a lot.
Editing looks perfect.
Background music sounds good.
Keep up the good work mate!🍻
Thanks bud :)
Leets hope they can all be fixed.
I find it hard to solder small wires like that speaker wire. The plastic melts and gets in the solder and then just messes everything up
Great video Joey thanks

Great content! Do you consider cost of shipping or do you include that in the sale price?
Thankyou! I charge the customer postage on top :)

make it look easy man.. keep on keepin on
Thankyou Paul!

Keep up the good work Joey 😊😊
fix all 4 got faith in your repairs
A colab with my mate vince on UA-cam would be awesome. Maybe you both buy 5 items and see who makes the most profit?
I feel like it's time for a full poker of successful repairs, and I say that before I watch the video (let's see if I jinxed it).
Why didnt you just order the 3.49 game cart slot that is on screen @ 17:47? Its not too bad to remove the broken one and solder in the new one.
it was a switch lite card reader, not a normal switch one
3 I think is still a win
Nice videos my guy, really interesting. Keep it up!
Take some of that profit money and buy a new pair of gloves my guy. 😂
Neveeeer 😂
Are you still using your andonstar to solder or your new camera microscope to solder
Andonstar :)
@@JoeyDoesTech could you use the new camera to solder
Good job mate
Thanks bud

At least 2 of them I'd say
2
Oof...that first port is so mangled...it's obvious that's the main culprit just from an initial view, I'll wait to see if I was correct.
Switch God
great content.
Well hope all these switches are 1000 modeles to people can use them to mod after you fix them up.
Only certain serial numbers can be be modded from the first model switches not all first models.
@@B9NE I said 1000 the first version dum dum.

4 of course
Me an American- Losing 200 lbs sounds great!
😂😂😂
What's the music in the video?
Where you buy your faulty stuff from?
I'm guessing all 4 consoles as seller looks lagit in statement of them and no prior attempts 😊
I'm going 3 out of 4 hoping for 4/4 though
3/4 with one of them being for parts
Trying. To. Fix. Four. Faulty. EBay. Items. For. Profit. Part. I
Joey my man. Buy the actual cartridge slot and replace just them. They are about £3 each

Its a crime to be this early
Thanks for updating the eBay fees to 80% off. Just wondering, how do you manage to get that discount? I've sold a lot on eBay and never get it.
Great video and nice fixes
Always manage to get them, usually once a month or so :)
Lucky dude Good prices eBay be selling a lot of junk they be watching videos knowing people buy broken to resell running prices up ☹️
I think you will fix 3.
5 from 4 :-)
YES! :D
3
Comment after first repair I'm saying 3 of 4 you'll repair
4 is how many you will fix.
i think you get 4 out of 4
THANK YOU
dont show us what they sell for show us yours sold.
I do all my recording in one day and some of the items I still haven’t sold. I don’t have enough time currently to wait for them to sell and update.
Why add a cost that was already pay with a past lost?
What do you mean sorry?
