Her voice is so soothing.
Aww thank you!
a tip from another newbie gardener: i've been told to squish and "decompress" the roots of plants before repotting them to change the shape and give them more air and the ability to grow better or something.
Great tip! Thanks for this 😄
@@GraceWillow by loosening the roots, they grow out into the soil instead of continuing in the root bound pot shape.
Yay! Gardening is my way of mediating and mindfulness! The magickal herb garden is sooo cute!🌿🌻🙌🏿
Promethea 79 Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
This is a lovely video and your vocal narration is truly beautiful and calming. About the only thing that I will suggest is maybe putting small blocks between the planter and your deck. Since the planter is not sealed water will leak through onto your deck. without a small amount of air flow between the planter and the deck, you might experience some water damage or rot on the deck longterm.
Thank you for the great tip!! The deck is treated/ waterproof but I’d rather be safe than sorry!
I'm really enjoying all of the home content lately! With the pandemic and everything I haven't had any motivation or really want to cosplay, but I am in the process of moving and planning out my next place so this stuff has been especially wonderful haha
Awww!! Thank you so much! I’m happy you like it!
That’s so cool! I love gardening this is was calming to watch
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it!
Hope things are getting better at work!
Love the garden. Mine has been such a place of peace for me and I hope it will be for you as well. Next time be sure to make a hole deeper than the pot you are taking the plat out of. That way you can protect the roots better. Bees love basil blooms but when they bloom too much they can get bitter. Make sure the lavender doesn’t over shadow your camomile as it gets tall.
Thank you so much for the sweet comment and taking the time to give me all this phenomenal advice!
A like for Bilbo! Beautiful job!!
How cute!! This is making me excited for gardening season
I’m really enjoying these types of videos, and Bilbo is so cute! ;-;
Thank you Molly! Glad you like Bilbo too!
i love this so much. moreeeeee!
Gardening tips: 1. Don't compact the soil, it gets rid of air. 2. Massage the roots to free them up and encourage outward growth.
That's really lovely! 😊👍
I'm glad you're settling in 🌸⭐💖
Aw thank you Phil!
Gardening has been an absolute life saver during lockdown. My partner and I have grown so many veggies and herbs in the past four months, and it's become one of my absolute favourite things to do! I can just spend hours outside looking at all our adorable plants :)
I've never thought of painting a regular wood planter. Idk why that's never occurred to me. 👍🏻
The soil can be a little fluffier so the roots have an easier to spreading out. The bigger top heavy plants are ones that I more firm up on top towards the center so they don't fall over if there's heavy wind.🌱🌪️
Thank you!!!
I am catching this 2 years later and wonder how they are? What I've read about Chammomile, it can really spread. When I had a little condo it was happy in my 2X4 garden and filled it all up. My bunny always went to it and stayed by it! LOL. Good luck and thanks.
Just wanna say: your voice is soo relaxing! Thats just what I needed
Thanks :)
I love your aesthetic in all of these home decorating videos.
Thank you Amber! Best of luck with decorating ❤️
This is great. I look forward to seeing how you update those little signs by the plants to look more magickal.
Thank you! And ooooo I love that idea!!
w00t! New video time! This was so relaxing to watch. Perfect music choice for the content too. Looking forward to seeing an update on how they’re growing and what dishes you’ve used them in. Take care 😇
Aww! Thank you so much! I’ll keep you updated!
Your voice is so calming.
Thank you so much! I'm happy you think so.
Oooh, herb garden! As soon as it's summer here I am starting one of my own, as long as whatever I plant is safe for my cats. By the way, I'm loving your ASMR narration style :)
Thanks so much Tracy!
when you take the plant out of the nursery pot, gently break up the roots a little bit and don’t pack down the soil so much to encourage them to branch out :)
Thank you Marley!! I’ll do this from now on! 😄
That looks so pretty! I adore!!
Cute vid!
Make sure to break up the root balls before planting. Also Lavendwr like dry, well drained soil. It will have some issues growing next to the basil since basil like moisture and is expanding but Lavender doesn't. They'll compete with each other in the box
Thank you for the tip!! I'll move the lavender to another pot this weekend!
@@GraceWillow Sounds like a good plan. Compared with your other herbs Lavender likes well-draining sandy/gravelly soils and can grow quite large (2-3ft high).
this is very nice and i love it
Thank you!
Busted out laughing seeing Adam with a mask over his Viking beard. Amazing video, thanks Grace!! 💙💙💙
Also, in Fort Worth, I’ve found that digging the hole, filling it with water, then putting the plant in, then watering again. Helps keep the plants from getting too shocked in transplant process in this heat. Also watering in the morning before it gets too hot helps it from evaporating :) Good luck!!
Lol!!! It cracks me up too!! And that is a GREAT tip!! I will definitely do that from now on! Thank you!
I will collect spices, and also plant them too. I still need to compost more soil, it's too hard to use the red clay soil here.
i love how adam's beard peeks out of his mask
How cute!! Loved the music choice too! 💖
Thank you Alexandra!!
No Wolvesbane?! Im a lilly lover. Stargazers, Mona Lisa's and Chicago lillies are all in my beds.
I've been thinking about planting some herbs on my balcony as well🌿 already built a planter and now i just need the actual herbs♥
That's so cool! It's so neat you made your own planter too!
I spy a Adam in the wild!!
No mention of what the healing properties are of the herbs? Why not?
Would there be a magickal flower garden as well?
Oooo yes!!
Two dislikes? What kind of monster dislikes Zonbi ASMR? That's sociopath level stuff right there...like someone who would dislike Bob Ross. :X
Hello! Your supposed to loosen up the roots before you plant them, but this is great otherwise
Don't pack the soil in tight
Thanks for the tip!!
ill tell ua secret * one of them are liked.
