    Came here after reading the MVP Machine. I wish Netflix made docs this well, I'm not a video guy but the pacing was perfect and I loved the wife talking with baseball hits in between and the impact at the end with Driveline getting recognized. I relate to Kyle, but then again I don't see how you couldn't. Great work

    Love your content Trevor! This is the best baseball channel on UA-cam, and it's a shame the MLB doesn't do more to promote content like this!

    This is an amazing and inspirational story. Love the tenacity and passion for a vision...now it's easy to say -- but, of course! -- but when Boddy started this journey, it wasn't so clear. I love leadership like this -- it's part of what makes us love pioneers and the start up environment!

    Very interesting. Although my time in baseball has long past, I ponder if the concepts can be converted to golf. As I am getting older, swing speed decreases and I would like to get it back.

    Kyle! First of all I just want to say thank you and because your protocols to driveline have greatly influenced both of my sons.I know without driveline and your tools that they wouldn't be where they're at today.
    I appreciate the fact that you were willing to put this out there. There are a lot of vulnerable moments that you have and I actually think that takes a lot of strength.
    I wrote this to you mainly though because I am similar to you in that I am naturally a skeptic.I'm not going to preach to you on a UA-cam comment section but I would like to challenge you if you'd be willing. You mentioned that you are agnostic. So essentially that means that you don't know if there is or isn't a God. so here is the challenge... If there is no God then essentially what you believe in is that we are a random accident that is purely chance and time acting. if that really were the case, could you account for things such as objective morality, truth, mathematics, laws of logic, and even science? I know that you didn't put this video out to get into a theological debate but you remind me a lot of myself in that you seem to be a pretty deep thinker. If our brains are nothing but chemical reactions then how can we account for the earlier things that I brought up? How come things like murder and rape are always wrong? Weather it's the year 2020 or 2000 BC, or whether we are on the planet Earth or on Pluto, I think we could all agree that those things are heinous. Why? if I'm simply a victim to a random chemical action going on in my brain then who's to say that doing one of those things is evil? I'm simply just evolved stardust that doesn't know better. another example I gave was mathematics. We cannot seriously look at the atom as small as it is and the universe as vast as it is and believe that it was a random chance from nothing (nothing produces nothing) and that everything is organized and ordered the way that it is. Mathematics is something we take for granted every day but the simple equation 2+2=4 is as true today as it was in eternity past and will be forever more. Laws of mathematics are universal and eternal. and I know at one point in the video you mentioned leaning more towards science. Well I'm all for that. actually part of the challenge I'd like for you to consider is the fact that we have a testable and repeatable reality in which we live. How could we test gravity if one day it was here and the next day it was gone because if we exist in random chance and chaos there is no guarantee of gravity. All of these things I'm mentioning to try to stir up in you your presuppositions that you take for granted. See everything around us is fine tuned. if we were too close to the sun we would burn up if we were too far away we would freeze. If we had a little bit less oxygen we would suffocate if we had a little bit more we would asphyxiate. And countless other examples. we have no proof of Life anywhere else in the known universe and yet we have four beautiful individual seasons that we enjoy every year. You see you know just as well as I do that God exists. In chapter 1 of Romansit declares that we are all without excuse because the things of God are clearly seen in creation. The problem comes in because it's not a thinking problem it's a heart problem. Dealing with the truth of God doesn't come down to intellectual it comes down to a spiritual desire to not want anything to do with him. even the people that are reading this now and are going to want to criticize it know deep down in the heart that we are not some random chance and that all of creation screams that there is a Creator. and that's why I hope that not only you but everyone else who reads this really challenges their preconceived notions and looks at reality without taking for granted the fact that our day-to-day lives are proof of God. There are of course many other things like prophecies that were foretold hundreds and sometimes thousands of years in advance thatended up taking place exactly how they were foretold to the day the exact way they were supposed to happen. Or the inscrutable evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. You see you don't have to check your intellect at the door when it comes to Faith. As a matter of fact I believe the two go hand in hand. What Jesus Christ did on the cross 2,000 years ago was done on Earth 2,000 years ago in front of thousands of witnesses that could verify it. You see nowadays we take that for granted because most people are liars but back then people consider the truth of the highest regard. and could you imagine bringing to a court hearing nowadays over 5000 people who were eyewitnesses to an event?? It would be undeniable the testimony of such a large group of people. So Kyle again I want to thank you for everything that you've done and for being vulnerable with all of us. Please take the time to consider these things. There's nothing more important that you can do with your time then to get this straight. did you know that the Latin term for agnostic is literally ignoramus? Well I don't believe you to be that I believe you would be a mind that is far superior to someone who is an ignoramus. Thanks for taking the time to read this!! I know it was a short novel LOL. And God bless you and all those at driveline baseball

    This short documentary was good but I feel like I am missing something. Don't all MLB teams already have an established physical program for their athletes? What is Driveline doing that is so different or did the MLB teams pretty much adopt their program?

    • @WatchMomentum
      @WatchMomentum  5 років тому

      Generally, most teams have their own internal programs but Driveline has been ahead of the curve on many aspects of development, especially in terms of pitchers. Through their research, analytics, and programs, they have shown big improvements in athletes who have trained with Driveline and returned to their teams.
