wow, the talent on this episode. Mel, Glen, Steve Bill Monroe. This is an amazing show. Then there's Roy and Buck. Doesn't get any better. Plus the legendary bluegrass fiddler Kenny Baker with Monroe.
I dint know Glenn was one of the best guitarists, till after he passed. he could shred a guitar! Glad he committed his heart to Jesus Christ before he breathed his last
That's no doubt... Even Vince Gill said..... Man.... That's hot 🔥.... and Vince had already received guitarist 🎸 of the year award... and of course we all know Vince Gill sang harmony w / Pure Prarie League... Amie... what you gonna do... .... What a treat indeed...
Yes indeed , Greg Campbell could make a guitar dance and sing beautifully. Oh my childhood memories ! Thanks and love to the whole HEE HAW GANG ! !!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤
The Hee Haw Honeys were absolutely gorgeous and the music was so good. A great show for 25 years.......And an Dale Earnhardt GM Goodwrench commercial at 30:03 How cool is that?
thanks Zane for sharing this Hee Haw show here on You Tube. I am 50 years old & I grew up when this show was popular. my late grandmother & I watched it every week. we both loved the show & I enjoy watching the old reruns whenever I can. country music was good back when they made those Hee Haw shows but the country music that is out currently is garbage in my opinion .sadly most of the country artist that sang on Hee Haw are now deceased .keep them coming sir for Hee Haw fans like myself to watch on here & enjoy once again
I thoroughly enjoyed this.... Except the GM Goodwrench ad, with Dale. Damn, that broke my heart all over again. Oh, to go back to that way-back-when....
Junior samples final appearance on the show he died of a heart attack in November 1983 just a few months before this show aired. In the culhanes skit you can see he’s very sick and unwell

Nope, Roy Clark stated himself in a UA-cam interview that " After Buck quit the show, we had a co-host every week, & then Everyone wanted to co-host, & Nobody wanted to perform music, &, the Producers started doing away with the cornfields, moonshine stills, & country themes, & switch to " Neon" signs & nightclub scenes for " a younger audience ", & I Tried to tell them, " This show is Not for teenagers, they're Not even at home on Saturday nights". They didn't listen to Roy, the ratings went to the bottom & the show was Cancelled.
