I.e. once the birthday cake is cut that’s the moment. It’s over... so enjoy it while it lasts. I love all the double entendres in the song but this one actually summarized everything he is saying more than anything else in the song. It was so simple and subtle he had to add the pop sound and people will still need to listen a few times to get it. Second best one may be the Patrick Swayze reference as it can be interepreted to mean at least 3 things. The billy goat and billy goat lines are very interesting in that regard as well.
