He has won grammys, ran a successful record company, ran a successful clothing line, has a diamond selling album, collabed with some of the biggest names in hip hop. What cant he do that another rapper has done? Maybe you think someone else is more lyrical...ok but they cant rap fast or carry a note. Or maybe someone is better at carrying a note, but they cant battle rap ect. Nobody can touch a soul like 2Pac, but Eminem def has songs that can touch your soul. Only thing I would personally change is the fact that the album has that "Horror film" concept, but he didn't put any of those dark/sinister/serial killer songs. When I saw the album cover I thought he was going back to that relapse vibe, and I was hoping the same with Side B, but not really. It would have made it perfect for me.

I think that when Em refers to himself as a “rap god” it’s also him playing into his persona a little bit. Because if you’ve ever listened to his interviews he def a lot more humble than he portrays himself in the song. I feel like he understands that the comparison is ridiculous but he also understands that it’s the corner his some of his fans have painted him into. I think when you listen to his song with Beyoncé “Walk on water” he kinda takes about it too.

its sad seeing people not appreciate this song as much as they should. it has great flow, cadence, beat and rhymes as well as a good hook and a lot of barz that go over peoples heads. for example they missed one of the easiest ones to catch, the MGK one. eminem is literally the god of rap no one is on his level , some rappers may have the speed, some with barz, some with beats, but em has it all and does it better. the way he pronounces his words and some how makes things fit is crazy and hes been doing it for 20 years.
For me it also has insane replay value as well.
