After a few years in the making, Stourton Park & Ride is now offically open in Leeds! With 1,200 parking spaces, 5 new fully electric buses and a state of the art waiting facility I took a trip on the buses to take a trip up to see it all for myself!

I really love the ultramodern design of the waiting area; would be the perfect place for coaches to stop between London and Newcastle/Edinburgh in a similar way to Meadowhall in Sheffield or the Coachway in Milton Keynes given the M1 proximity, as it's a good compromise between fast end-to-end journey and number of locations served!

I like how you call the M621 the M1 (that new A1-M1 link road doesn't count and the M1 only goes from London to Leeds, because Leeds is important 😉 ) you will have to go back when the bus lanes are finished and do a route visual

When you said that the Stourton P&R Buses make no noise, it really depends. Based on this video, the bus engine only makes a whining sound when it is moving, but is can be unnoticeable since it is electric.
