Love the shop my wardrobe vlog. We all have things hidden in the over stacked wardrobe that get forgotten about. Inspiring me to rummage through and see what still fits and get rid of the things that stop you from seeing what you really want to wear. Loved your pink and grey check over shirt and of course your bargain spotty dress. Years ago I used to have a week's outfit ready beforehand but now nothing is pre planned - need to get more organised. Thanks for posting - really look forward to your vlogs

Hi Caroline, Even though I'm 68 and retired now, I still choose an outfit the night before. When I have something in my closet I haven't worn in awhile there must be a reason. So I put it on for the day and either love it, or remember why it wasn't so comfortable. I purge my wardrobe and shoes twice a year, spring/summer and fall/winter. Loved your video today. I mostly use natural daylight, but I'm lucky that I have big windows, it makes filming a lot easier. I very occasionally resort to a ring light, when I'm desperate!

I'm amazed how many shoes and clothes you have. I've never had a lot of money I guess if I did I'd have more than I do. I have two pair of blue jeans 3 shirts and one pair of shoes. Of course, I have my funeral outfit black dress, shoes, hose put up in a bag for the next time I need them. I love your clothes, I used to always buy the same type of shirt that I always had. You and I are built about the same way. It really helps to see how things look on you so I can judge how they would hang on me. Because of your videos I broke down and bought 3 new shirts this year. I also got rid of my old tennis shoes for a nicer pair of shoes. Still have the same old blue jeans though can't make myself (I'm jiggly) wear the black spandex pants. Thanks for the video's their really helping me keep up with what's going on.
It's the leggings - jeggings that I just can't make myself do not spandex. There to form fitting for me. I can't even make myself wear a bathing suit either. It's the way I was raised even though I'm 60 years old now.
Hi Cathy - I do have a lot of clothes and shoes, but I do buy quite a lot second hand, from charity shops and car boot sales, I can't resist a bargain! I really enjoyed reducing my shoe collection, I'm going to be a bit more brutal with my whole wardrobe, I think, having too much is not always a good thing. So glad you enjoy the videos, I love making them as well :)
@@CarolineMrsM I re read what I posted and did not mean any offense it was more of a why do I just own 3 shirts and 2 pair of pants? I'm 60 I made more money on ebay this week than I ever have, the bills are paid I own my house. I bought 4 dress - 2 of your dresses that you recommended in different colors. I've lived poor and frugal for so long I think it's just a mind set and I deserve to have some nice things once in a while. I'll have to peak back and see what shoes you wore with your dresses. My feet swell so, I may have to stay with my "grandma" type shoes. I really appreciate you for giving me the courage to look at myself and to realize that it's o.k. to do for yourself and not everyone else all the time. Thank you and now I'm crying.

Hi Caroline, this is such a fab idea I will definitely be doing it myself. Never having had a lot of money to spend on clothes myself when my children were younger I always had two different "sets". One for everyday at home house work clothes, and the leaving the house (going to the shops or somewhere special) clothes. As a result I still have the habit of changing when I get home from anywhere. I feel I should stop this habit but after so long it will take some doing, (my youngest is now 30) so you can see how it is but I will definitely give this method a go. Thank you for the good idea x
I always change into comfy clothes when I finish work in the evening, I find it helps me draw the line between 'work' and 'home'.
What a great idea picking your outfits the night before ,I also tend to sway to the same outfits so I'm going to take a leaf out of your book and try and do the same, it's a good discipline.👗👡👜
Hope it works well for you. I think I"m going to keep it up. The side effect of not constantly having a pile of clothes that needs putting away is also good!

Just wanted to pass on a 💡 top tip 💡 For long boots that flop over when not being worn - Empty pringles tubes inserted into them, keeps them nice and upright!! Can't remember where I saw this but I've been using the tubes and keeps my boots upright, brilliant. The only problem is having three pairs of long boots, I've had to eat 6 tubes of pringles 😁👍

Another winner, Caroline. Love seeing a good declutter! I got rid of so much "stuff" over the past couple of years, so I like seeing you doing the same! Have you heard about a 'swop shop' among friends? You don't all need to be the same size, as jewellery and accessories too are included. There are rules! What no-one wants goes to the host's charity shop of choice. (Excuse for a get together, if that's your thing)
I'd definitely be up for going to a 'swap shop', I've read about them and I think they're a great way of recycling clothes etc. :)
I do enjoy watching people’s “OOTD” videos. I love clothes but I have the sort of job where I often wear safety boots and high vis so there is little opportunity for me to dress up. It would be interesting to see your outfit picking process and updates on how you felt about it at the end of the day (which we got a bit of in this video). I do hope we still get the odd haul and come shop with me though as I enjoy those too.
There will still be a Come shop With Me every month, and definitely occasional hauls as well.

OMGosh Caroline...what cute outfits you put together!!! My favorites...the plaid tunic shirt and 😥don't get rid of those pink boots you had on with it!!! They just took that outfit up a notch! I also loved the red dress and beige cardigan...oh my...so pretty. I did declutter my shoes awhile back...but you've inspired me to have another session...I know I still have shoes I never reach for.

It's often hard to get rid of things we've loved wearing in the past, even when we know we won't wear them again. I'm getting better at it slowly.

I LOVE that pink check Yours shirt. No longer available :( .I'm not a huge fan of shoes but I tend to wear Hotter, bit pricey but have been lucky on Ebay. SO comfy. Flip Flops, sometimes there is a plastic sheath on the toe post, I take them off so easier on your toes. I don't wear trainers either apart from one pair of Sketchers Gowalks., slip on ones. I have both the polkdot Ebay dresses lol LOVE Snag tights. I enjoyed this video very much, a good variety of things included. Off to work now. Have a great day Caroline.

D’you know. I smiled all the way through this video. I am so like you. When I am meant to declutter, my “to go” pile is minute! I really need to be more ruthless. When you talked about shoes not having enough support it made me think about my two dodgy knees. I ended up going to physio. She got me a pair of insoles and they really do make difference. Love the spotty dress. You are brilliant.

No suggestions on the flip flops, I'm afraid. I have a friend who just can't wear them, she finds them far too painful.
You can buy little plastic clips from Scholls or some such that go around the thong.

Hi Jayne, I ordered UK 22, I'm normally a 20 in dresses, but I sized up as sometimes the cheap Chinese brands cut small. However, I could have ordered a 20, the 22 was more than big enough.

Love the polka dot dress! Totally unrelated to this post, but what is the brand of the fabric shaver you have? I think you mentioned that it was a bit more expensive than some of the ones available but well worth the extra money for its performance. Just had a second fail with a less expensive model - definitely thinking you get what you pay for.

Hi Susan, we almost always book direct on the Sani Resort website. Bear in mind if you do that you'll be booking in Euros and paying at the end of your stay, so you will be at the mercy of exchange rate fluctuations.

You make a good point, I"m not sure any of us are ever truly happy with our clothes. I am going to declutter more and be more thoughtful when I"m buying in future, I do feel as though I have too many clothes.
Hello! I'm new to your channel - well a week or so in - but I have to say that I'm liking what I see. I've come back to this vid because I like your polka dot dress. Can I ask a quick question please? Do the sizes come up big, would you say? I know its cheap enough not to worrk, but I'd prefer it to sorta fit, if possible, instead of going straight into the Charity Shop bag (think we've all done that before!). I too am an over 50-on-the-cusp-of-60 + a Plus size, but I tend to be really unsure of my actual size, so tend to buy bigger....and then never wear the thing! Truth be told, I'm a classic Apple - a Belly on Legs - and as a result would say that I'm an 'inbetweener' size as a result: smaller on bottom than top (well more back than front, but hey ho). I'm going on to one of your 'Rant' vids now, the one about someone commenting on your hair.....

And what should she be trying on - a lovely sage-y green polka dot dress! Very reasonable - so cheap at £13. My nearest Primark now is 30ml away now, via the A1 and the parking's a nightmare. Emm, think I may take a chance on something coming quicker from China lol!
Yes I liked this video and it a shame that the blue trimmed black shoe didn't fit you good cause they would've gone good with the new blue blouse you bought.
Having just watched, and heard, you discuss your surprise at how many shoes you have not only decluttered but have held onto for so long, I am passing along a tip (not mine). Why don't you keep a basked at the bottom of your shoe closet and then, when you find a pair to no longer be comfortable or past their best, you can immediately put them in the donate / sell / get rid of basket and then when it's full you can deal with them. Save you storing what you're not using. Just a thought.

I am a morning person like you and like you tend to wear ankle boots more nowdays. You have got loads of shoes ! I m more of a bag and sunglasses person. However you have lovely clothes hair bands would also look good as they are very youthful bye
1st outfit: The skirt is actually nice on you.....just not with the top having a zipper and the boots don't do anythingfor the outfit.
